SOMETHING WRONG IS HAPPENING AND THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO DO SOMETHING ARE JUST SHOUTING INTO OUR EARS CORRUPTION, CORRUPTION WITHOUT TELLING US WHERE THEY SAW CORRUPTION AND WHAT THEY INTEND TO DO ABOUT IT.   And one would want to know how SSNIT plans to retreive the billions of cedis of arrears owed it since 1965!!!
  Government must look at the figures on their schedule it is no joke!!!!!!

  in usa even people that payed nothing in can get ssi instead of social security(pension) and still get $400(800 cedi) every month! plus your low income

  Every business has a perogetive to diverse into an area of profitability.
  
  I was in London when Hong Kong and Shanghai bought Midland Bank. The sale became a public outcry. The sale went to House of Commons and debated but nothing happened. Before then Westminster Bank was bought by National Provincial Bank. The same public outcry ensured. Barclays Bank bought District Bank. Though Chairmen sometimes make bad decisions, these banks are striving, especially HSBC.
  
  I wonder when backseat directors in Ghana will shut up and leave SSNIT board alone to diversify into arrears they deem prudent.
  
  With
  the billions of dollars of OIL shares the NPP Government dished out to EO, why can't they buy up the Banks SSNIT is selling. Better still, KUfour and son can enter into the buying spree.
  
  The NPP and their supporters are fond of opposing anything ever since the GOLD COAST became GHANA.
  
  Let me add a bit of humour into this piece: The only thing the Asantes and Akims or the NPP do not oppose is their men MARRYING FANTES and vice versa.

  SSNIT is group of lazy thieves. I will be very ashamed if my father is a ssnit worker. SSNIT is trying to tell Ghanaians that they don't make profit in merchant bank? Why the rush in selling this bank

  YOU FORGOT TO MENTION IN YOUR ARTICLE THAT 2 EMPLOYEEES OF TTB WHO OPPOSED THE SALE OF THE BANK WERE MURDERED BY NDC AGENTS. ONE WAS THROWN FROM A ROOFTOP & THE OTHER WAS STRANGLED TO DEATH IN A FAKED CAR ACCIDENT AT ATOMIC E ...
