There's nothing to be ashamed of Nana Addo, when the 'literature' appeared at your name; you must be grateful as other BADGES, extending to your father's Presidency would balanced what you may call a 'BLACK' label to your lineage. It's about History and no one expects a level graph in 'anthropology'.

There is no amount of spinning that can be put on it that will make it any different. Refusing to accept the verdict would have been suicidal for him. As PATAPAA as he is, he is not stupid.

We all witnessed the lapses of the process during the Supreme Court proceeding in Ghana recently. Until proper process is set up with trusted people running the show, democracy is a joke and we are all deceiving ourselves. Mockery of democracy par excellence!! Since 1992 in Ghana,the loosing party almost always does not accept the verdict or results as handed down by the Electoral Commission. Emerging democracies like India, the largest democracy in the world is doing well. Maybe we need to go and learn something from them. We are just joking in Ghana! The Electoral Commission need to be fixed with real and trusted individuals managing that useless institution created by the bogus 1992 Constitution. We all can do better!

All that you lot are doing is helping the NDC and some selfish individuals in your Party. You cannot advise Nana to retire and at the same time say you will support him if he decides to run.

After Nana Addo has transformed Ghana, like Nkrumah and Kuffuor did, the rest of you can come in.

Nothing will please the NDC more than replacing Nana Akuffo Addo and then the NDC will start their campaign against the new NPP selection.

There isn't any more the NDC can write about Akuffo Addo that they have not done already.

Should my suggestion be considered Nana should rule Ghana for only one term. Ghanaians would then decide if he could be allowed to rule again via NPP primaries. Mr. Isaac Osie's isn't the one to tell others what to do in politics. Gradually it's being revealed that an Ashanti gang who'd been working behind the scenes ever since Nana Akufo-Addo won the NPP presidential slot way back in 2007 is really exists. It had become rumour that the gang who had supported ex-Prez. Kuffour did not feel easy when they were beaten by Nana Akufo-Addo.

I'm not the kind of guy who dwells on "hear say" or rumour but Mr. Osie can't hide it anymore. He's angry when he received criticisms for siding with Konadu Apraku in his lose statement.

So at last all the public perception about an Ashanti gang who're trying to cause confusion in the party true. All the rumour that was being spread around here in Canada and elsewhere could be right that an Ashanti gang who'd want their tribesman to become president is working heaven and earth to destroy Nana. There was a heated debate in a Toronto restaurant where many people expressed sorrow at the way things are being handled in the NPP regarding the plot by the so-called gang to push Nana from the scene. I challenged that idea---well it clear that I was wrong by what Mr. Osei has just said. It's true the NPP has lots of supporters in the Ashanti region. But recent polling trend suggest that there's a drift in this support base to other parties just because of what these disgruntled leaders are doing.

Mr. Osei shouldn't try to be a choirmaster or moderator here. He should go to the party headquarters to file for his nomination along with Konadu Apraku, Alan Kyeremateng or his gang and wait for the delegates to make their choice. If late Atta-Mills could win on his 3rd attempt in the presidential race, why can't Nana or anyone else do the same? It's a disgrace for a notable leader to make such silly public remark. One thing should remain clear; the party shouldn't allow anyone with any dubious record to get elected.

It's absurd to note how people who ought to know better could behave this way. I wonder if Nana Akufo-Addo has accused anyone or even mentioned anyone's name? And I wonder if people like Mr. Osei will stick around the party if Nana gets another nod to lead the party? Nana isn't NPP's problem; those gang who popped champagne after the Supreme Court's verdict are the party's biggest problem. It's a big shame and Mr. Osei and gang should bow in shame.

So what many people feared about is true after all. It's so, so sad. May God help the NPP party. One would ask; so where is the unity in the party or is there any?

Akufo Addo clinching the flagbearership of the NPP looks very much of a possibility because of the support he has from the base, having been whipped into a frenzy by the likes of Sir John(whom we would have to talk about at a latter time), and the supposed or perceived lack of support of the other contestants. So that fact, from all indications has been established and settled that Akufo Addo's support amongst the base, to the greatest extent, is incontestable. Now, if we would be unemotional enough and elevate the conversation or discussion to the national level, the polling is very different and plays out quite differently even amongst the NPP, and that is where the discussion should be centered, and needs to evolve. It would bring clarity to the issues and would settle the matter within the appropriate context, because after all, the sanguinity of the issue, with respect to the flagbearership indeed, has to do with acceptability not within the caucus of the NPP, but on a national level or platform. NPP cannot be saying to Ghanaians that, the vision of Akufo Addo to transform the fortunes of the country, is peculiar to just his person, so the argument for or against whoever intends to contest on the ticket of the NPP, as it's flagbearer, should be very circumspective, least, NPP shots itself in the foot...Hmmmn.
