How sad that in the 21st century my people still do not understand what democracy is. To state that Nana "yibikana ti kulan voti" is the most puerile if not absurd statement I have heard in years. I am however not surprised that this is coming from the Dagomba faction of the NPP youth, because am a Dagbana and that language used is purely Dagbanli.

It saddens me to think that, my people get so passionate about elections they are prepared to die for whoever the blindly choose to vote for they become impervious to reason. So does that mean that if Nana decides that God has spoken to him and he is retiring from politics they would not vote for Alan Cash or Dr. Apraku or any other person the party elects as the flag bearer?

We are deeply in trouble. If the NPP which is considered to have the most educated executives in its membership thinks this way what should be expected of the less fortunate parties?

Wow! Democracy is a very expensive exercise and I think the NPP has a very serious task ahead. Can you imagine these executives ever holding any national office?

In reality I think the NDC, CPP and PPP might not be any different just that they have not exposed their ignorance publicly the way my people have . HOW SAD!
