The ministers in power have enough to donate .Korle bu should ask the ministers to make a compulsory blood donations b'cos they eat/drink good than ordinary kayayo who can not even meet daily meal

Who will come donate?

Meanwhile in their books, they record so many thousands of Cedis (GHS) as having been used for the Blood donation drive and pocket the money.

Who checks on how much blood KORLE-BU HOSPITAL has,at any point in time?
I think,some realistic,meaningful,viable incentives should be given to donors,who might themselves be,not all that financially equipped or secured.
The masses could have done it,but they are the most affected,with respect to financial security.
THE QUESTION IS:
HOW CAN THEY COME TO DONATE,IF THEY ARE MALNOURISHED?
I am a universal donor with BLOOD TYPE O+.I donated my blood in 1981 to my cousin at he POLICE HOSPITAL in ACCRA.MY COUSIN UNFORTUNATELY,DIED BEFORE THE BLOOD COULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO HIM.
I was not given anything,yet they kept the blood.
THAT IS WHY I AM SUGGESTING,SOME INCENTIVE SHOULD BE OFFERED TO THE DONORS.
In that case,a donor has a decision to make before he does it.
WHY?
You've given him/her a chance to think about it,rather than not thinking about it at all.
There is the likelihood that some would do it.

Perhaps the former blood donors have started leaving the country. Those who are yet to leave do not even have enough blood because they are not well fed, can not pay their bills and can not make sense of life.
