It is important to allow all arms of government and the security services to work. Two points here; the blood mentioned could refer to the physical blood or the spiritual blood or both. In all cases JJ Rawlings a few days ago confessed that some innocent and good people were killed because the sacrifice was necessary.

He juxtaposed himself to be some kind of a fetish priest who demanded not the blood of animals to be sacrificed but the blood of innocent people to appease his own little gods in this barbaric way.

The international court of justice please take note of this confession so he can be tried for crimes against humanity.

JJ Rawlings, lastly is being tormented by both the physical and spiritual blood of let the blood flow victims through their cries and it is not surprising that today he rants and raves behaving badly as an ex head of state who cannot live in a dignified manner like all others around the world; Clinton, Bush, and even Kuffour, who is quietly being used by the UN to enhance the quality of life.

As president all the functions of the executive are vested in you.It is an onerous task to do it all alone.So you make it possible to perform those functions through the principle of delegation of authority.Since delegation of authority should lead to suitable performance of the task delegated,you should make sure that you do not put square pegs in round holes.Like appointing a medical doctor to be the minister of finance when there are people with accounting and economics background.This leaves you sometime to perform those functions which you cannot or do not want to delegate.You then coordinate the performance of the cabinet to ensure that the defined goals are achieved.
As a control measure,there shulod be periodic assessment of the cabinet to weed out inefficiency or correct wrong postings through cabinet reshuffle.

Swallow our pride and hand over the institutions to them; Let the audit them root and branch and root out the weaknesses and holes that are making it possible and encouraging leakages through bent officials.

One of the greatest things about this USA is in the strengh of their national and regional Insititutions. They have to be, for them to be able to function efficiently right accross the vast country and be able to absorb and assimailate all these new immigrants and treat them all fairly and without favour.

We can see this in the operation of the Diversification visa lottery. Everything is done above board and smoothly.There is no suspicion about favouritism or manipulation in favour of one nation or the other.

The strentgh of their Institutions is also seen in the smooth handing over of office after Presidential elections. Outgoing Presidents and political appointees do not take away government property.

If Ghana is to progress we must have efficient and corruption free institutions all accross board.

We can have them, if we are prepared to admit to our weaknesses and call for help from the Anericans so that they can give us the benefit of their experience.

It is a country that has been through a lot. Alcapone, Prohibition busting, businesss, banking and financial frauds of very complicated and complex magnitudes. They have taught them to the establish procedures, processes, laws and instituions that are watertight and strong to prevent and stop these deviations and leakages occurring or happening again and again

Ghana should be bold enough to call on them to come and help us if we want to stop corruption root and branch

Ghanaians know the reason why you can't because it originates directly from the Flagstaff House. Abuga Pele and Tapsoba who were involved in the Gyeeda stinking rot and financial malfeasance expressed it succinctly when they said, they should try and arrest them and they would see whose hands would be burned. Woyome also said people were going to run away from away in this country if he started to talk. Corruption and Mahama are one and the only antidote is to vote NDC out in 2016.

Forget about whether I am an NDC or NPP but if this President's brother is one of the most corrupt, how then you expect him to adopt a strong stance against corruption other than this hypocritical and cynical one. Do we practice democracy without any commitment to enforce compliance? Are you talking about democracy that feeds only the rich with gross impunity? Do you not understand that this democracy without any possible accountability has a strong tendency to negatively alter society and send Ghanaian lives to the cleaners? We are talking about pervasive corruption here including judges and court staff engrossed in wanton thievery. We are talking about an NDC government that inherited a previously incompetent NDC government. So what is going on? Taking Ghanaians for granted? Do not take me for cheap propaganda for I am a staunch NDC person but overall, I am an educated Ghanaian citizen. I have read and digested what the President said about democracy. I have taken time to look well into his talk and overall, I think that this is a defeatist language of a lazy President. The NDC appears to be a boat without a captain and the Chairman of this party looks non-existent. This party is really like a headless chicken with no ideology, drive or commitment. For me, I commend the quality of Ghanaian journalism which I must say is not entirely there but definitely improving. They must put the President to come out; and you know what? This President has indeed lost it. Like Mills, his language is both non-committal and hypocritical. You will observe that Mills resorted to this same strategy and he finally dogged everybody with the most passive attitude of all Presidents in the world. But you could excuse Mills for his illness.
Mahama was under Mills government and expected to have seen the wastefulness of that strategy. Does this President gain personally from this lacklustre attitude to fighting corruption otherwise how could he be in government as the VP for so long then succeed to lead his own government into power with this defeatist attitude knowing very well that the majority of Ghanaians are being subjected to undue denial and hardship. Ghana does not operate a welfare state so her President must be a thinking human being not some dismissible weakling. In a greedy country like Ghana, corruption has become more or less a system of rule and a way of undoing excessive bureaucratic problems. In other words the cumbersome democracy as practised in Ghana goes against the very tenants of democracy making corruption very rewarding hence endemic within the commanding heights of our society. Judges, Police and Priests who you expect to trust are by far the most corrupt. Therefore, there will have to be a strong deterrent to make corruption unattractive. The President has now made it clear that he is unfit to take on this job. Why should Ghana not try a female President? We can be surprised by a woman. After all, what good can come out of men when a President had to go into solitary confinement just to ensure a peaceful cabinet re-shuffle? It takes a lot to be a President and if you do not have it, you just don’t have it.
This President is saying that he does not to do this or that when already this system is super saturated with corruption. I have not seen any government of this type succeed ever and this government is in my lame idea unlikely to do anything good for Ghanaians. The President is just a weakling and does not appear to have the necessary credentials to lead. He is plainly admitted that he is not the type to resolve this unique problem facing the country. Seriously, Ghanaian Presidents come thinking they will have to finish their term. No, they must be subject to impeachment if thay are deemed to be incompetent or unfit. Is the NDC a thinking party?
Listen Mr President, every part of the Ghanaian system is corrupt, everywhere, I mean all aspects of Ghanaian society; including, the legal system and the judiciary as well as the Police is corrupt. The one last hope is for one person, the President to ACT. No one else can use such powers except YOU. This is what I call democracy. You are democratically invested with powers to intervene to restructure the systems. Do not wait until you are dragged to ACT. Haba!

The whole country is a pathetic collection of hopelessly corrupt, dishonest individuals; from the President, to the guy checking you in at the entry point in Accra, to the guy sweeping the streets. Dishonesty and corruption is so rampant and acceptable in Ghana that any honest hardworking person who tries to function in the system becomes an oddball and is really dispised by everybody. There is such a distinct disdain for honesty and integrity in the country that anybody who is not Ghanaian will find puzzling.

If you start arresting corrupt and dishonest individuals in Ghana, you will have to wall the entire country and convert the entire country into a jail in order to accomodate your suspects!

The President set a bad precedent in leadership principles and in the fight against corruption when he failed to declare his assets on assumption of power.He became a law breaker on day one so how realistic is it for the people of Ghana to expect a law breaker to uphold the rule of law?
When Vicky Hammah was invited to appear before the commission of inquiry she refused and eventually the commission had to end its work without evidence from the principal witness. She was left off the hook as if there are no laws in Ghana. Was it not an exercise in futility and a waste of the scarce taxpayers resources? Didn't the said commission have subpoena powers to compel Vicky to appear before it? We are joking as a nation and President Mahama is the number one joker.He is only giving lip service to the fight against corruption because he realizes that's what the people of Ghana want.

We know that you just cannot take it upon yourself to round up people because people are accusing them of being corrupt, that, to me, would be undemocratic. However, not doing a thing about it, also does not speak well of you as a President. You know your Government is ranked the 13th in the world ranking of corrupt Governments. Mr. Mahama, are you proud of that? It is a disgrace and leaves an indelible mark on you personally and your Government on the whole. What an achievement.

If this report is true, it is a very sad commentary of the country. The country has laws. The laws needs to be enforced vigorously and impartially. There are techniques such as 'Sting operations' which can be used to target criminals, whether the criminals are cabinet ministers, Managing Directors of State enterprises, or any other government employees. Of course, we know the Attorney General's department is hopelessly compromised. It is itself corrupt to the core. The President can indeed arrest "corrupt" officials if he has the will to do so. The people of Ghana seem to deserve this canker!
