It is because of people like him and Duncan Williams who once said that the donkey that Jesus rode on is equal to a Rolls Royce of today and the sack-cloth that Jesus draped over himself is equal to designer clothes of today. This was quoted in one of our daily newspapers a few years ago. Duncan-Williams was saying this nonsense to justify the massive extortion that they inflict on their vulnerable and uneducated congregation and the immense wealth that he has acquired as a result.

How can any enlightened person follow these confidence tricksters who are taking advantage of thousands of badly educated and stark illiterate followers?

They have reduced and desecrated the sanctity of religion and God to crass materialism, greed and selfishness.

Today people are only going to church to see what they can personally get from God for themselves only. When they give to the church, they do so only in expectation that God will listen to their incessant and unjustified demands and return the favor.

They actually have the temerity and the nerve to think that God in His most Holiness, is a fool.

God created man in his own image and every man is therefore gifted with the ability to do wonderful things for himself. It is those who do not wish to express this Godly gift who because they do not fully believe in the true God who troop to churches run by these charlatans to seek material and earthly aspirations. Look at the response by this mere idiot Yaw Kusi. He fits right smack into this description.

Many of them have simply replaced their voodoo and other black magic rituals with the christian concept of God.

In the same way that Jesus went into the temple and whipped both worshipers and their priests, the day is coming when the same will happen to these imposters, swindlers and quacks.

Jesus never begged and so did other prophets. Living on poor people's money does not make you rich but poorer than them. I respect people who are able to produce like farmers, teachers, traders and not someone who claims he has been called by God and tell us what we already know and perform magic to deceive the people. My advice to you is perhaps give the money back to the prople like Zacheus did or stop getting more and use what you have to find a dignified trade to do.

Well, everyone liked him, so they came up with a code word. Someone who had committed adultery would say they had "fallen".

This seemed to satisfy the old priest and things went well, until the priest died at a ripe old age. About a week after the new priest arrived, he visited the Mayor of the town and seemed very concerned. The priest said, "you have to do something about the sidewalks in town. When people come into the confessional, they keep talking about having fallen." The Mayor started to laugh, realizing that no-one had told the new priest about the code word.

Today, jail birds are dotting the corridors of Christendom to perpetrate their evil minds on society. By this they are recognized as changed men or women when in actual fact they are wolves. Our women become easy preys to these sex starved jail birds. Failures in all endeavours of life jump to the churches to make what under normal circumstances they could not do ordinarily. But I blame those who refused to open their minds, eyes and ears to know by themselves that they are being missed led. Hypocrites!

It is in the light of this that those of us from Ghana living in the New Haven County, Connecticut have started a congregation of the Church in the New Haven County. A member of the congregation who won a shop has offered her place to be used for our activities on Sundays. We are at the moment under the umbrella of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Worcester, MA, formed in 1999. We had our first Communion yesterday, and we thank God for that. Bad pastors, bad lawyers, bad doctors, bad teachers, all the evils/wickedness going on in the society but God stands akimbo and look, with the pretext of knowing what he's doing until people are destroyed before he intervenes so his name be glorified.
