Thank you Doc., for your powerful analysis of the economic situation in Ghana, under the incompetent John Mahama-led NDC govt.
You see, Rawlings had imposed himself over Ghana for 19yrs after accusing everybody of corruption, killing Army Officers and murdering noble Judges and several innocent Ghanaians. Ghanaians waited patiently and coupled with pressures from the Western World, for his time to expire.
Enter: Prez. Kuffour and his marvelous NPP govt. Things started changing rapidly after an initial hardship. Kuffour did in 8yrs what Rawlings couldn't do, to the admiration of the rest of the world, notably Her Majesty, Queen of England that she invited ex-Prez. Kuffour and his wife to the Buckingham Palace to a "Red Carpet" reception. This is no secret; the whole world including Rawlings and his wicked NDC gang know about this!
Having already seen their failures in govt. the NDC, this time led by late Atta-Mills in the 2007-8 campaing and election period lied low until Nana Akufo-Addo and his NPP revealed their party's manifesto. The NDC did nothing but made a photo-copy version of NPP's manifesto. Folks will recall that I've always maintained that the NDC has no ideas esp. how to make Ghana a happy and prosperous place to live!
They used Afari-Gyan and the EC as they'd done in previous instances to steal the ballot! They cleverly used infiltrators to confuse NPP by blocking Nana Akufo-Addo's wishes to file a writ at the Supreme Court and challenge the elections. Everybody knows what happened when Nana had won 49% and needed just a bit into victory, in 2008. In 2012 however, the very people who allowed themselves to be fooled by NDC's infiltrators pushed Nana Akfuo-Addo, Dr. Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey to challenge the election results in which Justice Atuguba gave that infamous verdict causing lots of shock, raising eye-brows and which sent many observers around the world scratching their heads in total disbelief, esp. with all the evidence that was compiled and presented in court.
NDC and John Mahama didn't win; Nana was the winner! The NDC weren't prepared; they only stole the ballot after listening to Nana Akufo-Addo's campaign promises and NPP's manifesto. They changed Nana's Northern Accelerated Development Fund to SADA among others They even said Nana's free SHS was not possible! The rest of the story is for Ghanaians to tell vividly or explain. Things continue to fall apart for everyone in the country, including foreigners.
The level of corruption under NDC govt. from late Prez. Atta-Mills to John Mahama is unheard of in Ghana's political history. Interestingly, Rawlings who had hitherto complained about corruption is now silent; everything is just fine. No wonder lots of Ghanaians wonder what's going on? Some are curious about what must have taken place or happened between Rawlings and Mahama, with some suspecting weird pacifying deals etc. So the saying in Pidgin English may perhaps explain everything: "The dog who hold bone in his mouth never cry" and...."there's something in the belly of the crocodile, that's why the deer has freedom to swim it the pond".....says another one. I won't be surprised if something must have happened!
NDC has nothing good to offer Ghanaians, so it's better for people, esp. the youth, who've been made to believe that Rawlings his a saint, to rise up and demand what's best for their generation, before it gets too late. Right now there's no hope for the youth of the nation; there're no jobs as there's not better future in sight for them.
The future under the NDC looks so bleak! The country's economic fortunes continue to decline under the NDC and it's time for our youth to rise up and vote them out before it gets too late!

Adjoa Safo and Dr. Bawumia & Co. are meeting NPP supporters abroad and that doesn't mean she'll not come back to Ghana. She is in touch with his constituency people so don't worry. She's on course.
You better tell John Mahama's NDC govt. to help alleviate the plight of orphans and needy children esp. young girls in Accra's Konkomba suburb who have no hope for the future, than try to accuse Hon. Adjoa Safo wrongly. Ghana needs to protect the youth and give them hope. The NDC promised Ghanaians GYEEDA, SADA etc. so far, nothing is going on.
