One thing NPP followers and members shy from admitting is the fact that Akufo-Addo isn’t going to mull representing his party again.

I believe Nana Addo is smarter than discount the snare he would set to his own detriment should he rethink running for the premier position. In effect, it would be a colossal miss and professional myopia on the part of his part to refute conventional wisdom and humbly retire from his presidential bid. In fact, retiring would help retain the withering vestige of credibility he might have left while offering him on the platter refuge from the angst of media scrutiny on one part and on the other the pain of yet another loss. The reason is obvious and glaring.

Interviewed by Stephen Sakur, the eminent Ghanaian statesman fumbled, mumbled and meandered repeatedly the same sequence of words. The whole world watched, stunned as the BBC Hardtalk specialist bombarded Akufo-Addo with questions that made some of us wonder why Nana should accept the interview in the first place knowing Sakur’s line of questioning.

Now, not only does the election petition give more bullets to journalists who may be rubbing their hands in anticipation. Mind shattering and extremely damaging accusation of murder, impersonation and fraud have come to weigh in on him. In event, there is no way Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would eschew media query as a president.

The accusation he is trying to avoid are simply too colossal to be ignored.

How can one live in harmony with such people. They have besieged after with one single slogan "AKWABA" even when you are departing Accra they tell you "AKWABA"...you can almost smell the stench of mediocrity and inferiority complex within these people. Its like they scared not to be noticed. This big country for all these solid ethnic groups, NPP feels they have to show off and always show up.

I am so saddened for Ghana because together as real partners we could have done so much for this glorious Kwame Nkrumah Country. Even at the Bank, they just come out of nowhere and jump the line, you driving they speed up and get in front of you, then slow down, you build a house, they build one bigger and architecturally blunderous(add to dictionary) next to you,..charley what are we supposed to do or say? pretend it isn't syphilitic and must end!!!

There has to be a massive internal revolution within the NPP, and if these people don't like the take over they should go forma third party.

How could you compare mango to pawpaw or alugutungu. Or plantain to yam? NPP must know that the challenge for the presidency is a national issue and not a party issue or concern. This is the big mistake NPP make all the time by believing that a 'yes' by the party means a 'yes' by the nation. Where are the wise men, the real thinking people and those with the common sense in NPP?. My advice for the party is to propagate on constructive, intelligent, practical and culturally friendly alternative to NDC for the voters rather than telling 'ananse' stories to the ears of the well politically awoken Ghanaian voters. The tactics for 2012 did not yield any gain because NPP spent all the valuable and precious time on Agbeshie Woryome saga and indulged in insulting Prof. Mills and their opponents instead of going full drive for selling their alternatives. Of course they allowed Mahama to win the election with only 3-4 months campaign and it was a devastating surprise/political blow for NPP. And the half-baked 'free education' by Nana was a total flop!! The defeat of Nana was shock to the political system for Nana and NPP but the voters were not a bit surprised because they could see and make a clear choice between NPP, NDC PPP, CPP and others. Ghanaians voted on integrity, good leadership, self-discipline, humility, competence, trust, national unity, inclusion of all without discrimination of difference- being it tribe, social background, disability, religion and capability etc. The force of the defeat was just so unbelievable to NPP that they had no choice than to go to court and sadly poor Bawumia had the opportunity to disgracefully bang on the 'pinksheet', displaying his political ignorance and grossly exhibiting his academic stupidity. Statistics, statistics do not win votes. It is how best you convince the voters with your vision and practical policies, coupled with your character, personality and commitments to the cause and need of the voters that win you the votes. I think coming with this crap about survey is a wrong starter to say the least. Ghanaian voters are too smart for the psychological game. Don't say that I DIDN'T TELL YOU SO'.

However, by God's grace Ghanaians have become alert after the EC and NDC have been exposed in that election fraud. Things won't be the same in 2016 and it seems the NDC think John Mahama will still win even without any chance of fraud. Hmmm! Let's see what happens in 2016. Meanwhile Kojo Afari-Gyan should be removed as EC's boss; he's been there for far too long. That post isn't a monarchy. It's time to rid the EC of corruption for the sake of our young democracy.

Let's use this period to settle all conflicts within and usher the doubters and instigators to think as one for the betterment of the party. A national win is the most important.
