Send them to go and die? Have solved the armed robbery menace. Those people in CAR are not ready to stop fighting. How can there be peace keeping? Leave them to kill each other.

It is the worst armed forces in Africa. They have never protected Ghanaian civilians neither have they done anything bebeficial for the nation. All they are noted for is fighting and killing Ghanaian innocent and unarmed civilians especially market women. They are going to South Sudan because the war has stopped and there is peace. Why didn't they go there when the war was still raging like the other soldiers from other countries? Now they see easy money and they will pay bribes to go there and enjoy themselves. Useless army. We don't need so many of them in Ghana because they are parasites and a drain on our cofers.

Ghana contingents in Coted'Ivoire had the poorest contingents owned equipment which deprived Ghana from earning the needed income from our equipment. Ghana sent mostly Chinese made pick-ups and unserviceable equipment hence the decision to redeploy them first out of Cote d'Ivoire. Ghana could not meet the international standards, like their Togo, Malawi, Senegal and Benin counterparts. Luckily South Sudan issue cropped up and therefore Ghana had to be redeployed as a matter of urgency. As you leave for South Sudan, President Mahama and Ministry of Finance who are recipient of income from the contingent owned equipment should think deep about the serviceability of our equipment, safety of the troop and equip the troop the needed equipment and facilities to work efficiently. Otherwise the life of our troop will surely be in danger. I am writing from my experience as a peacekeeper on the ground.

Ghanaian soldiers have never, never in the history of GAF gone into any direct combat. If Ghana finds herself in the kind of problems Mali, Senegal, Nigeria, Congo in going through, the entire Ghanaian population's life will be exposed to danger. Sierra Leone & Liberian militias are stronger and bravier than Ghanaian soldiers, all the Ghanaians do is harras innocent civilians in towns and cities in the market and gallamsey boys. Send Ghanaian soldiers to battle ground and the moments body bags starts arriving back at Burma Camp, you can be assured the rest back in combat will chiken out scampering to go buy deep freezers and old cars for their wifes and girlfriends. They are bunch of cowards calling themselves soldiers.
