Prior before Mahama made his appointments a bunch of thugs supposedly sent by Haruna were creating mayhem in the Tamale Metropolis demanding for Haruna to be appointed by Mahama. Mahama sucuumbed to it.

Now again Fuseini has been subjected to another attack from Haruna's goons.

It seems Haruna Iddrissu only understand violence. One of these days he would get it back in full!!

The Conservative Alliance Network (CAN) wish to express our utter
disgust at the conduct of two Ministers of our republic which has
brought the name of our nation into disrepute
Hon. Hajia Boya, the Deputy Minister of Women and Children’s Affair is
alleged to have led a group of NDC party faithfuls to beat up one Mmaa
Kande. The assault angered other NDC party faithfuls who swore to
teach the Deputy Minister a bitter lesson.
On the 26th of August, 2012, the Deputy Minister, Hajia Boya Gariba
was physically assaulted in retaliation. Her dress was torn apart,
exposing her nudity in public. The Minister of Communication, Haruna
Iddrisu is alleged to have masterminded the assault. According to
Hajia Boya, she saw Hon. Iddrisu leading the group that assaulted and
disgraced her publicly.
We condemn both attacks. The attack on the Deputy Women’s Minister
specifically brings back memories of the 1979 revolution days when
market women were stripped and whipped in public. Our country has come
too far to be dragged back as far as three decades ago.
The two Ministers of State have acted in a way that makes them unfit
for their positions. We call on President John Dramani Mahama to
dismiss the two ministers immediately. We believe this will send a
strong signal that he does not support or condone violence. Our
President has on various platforms promised violence free elections.
This brutal assault case presents a fine opportunity for the President
show his commitment to peace, before this year’s election.
Another disturbing development about this issue is a revelation by
Hon. Hajia Boya. She alleged that John Jinapor, spokesperson of the
President “slapped” her months ago. She disclosed that the President
was aware of the assault. We find it strange that our President has
not acted on this matter till now. We believe this casts doubts about
the President’s commitment to peace and protection of women.
Many civil society organizations and NGO’s have committed resources to
ensuring women are represented in governance. With such reports of
assaults on women, it deters more women from joining politics. We, the
Conservative Alliance Network (CAN) conclude by demanding that:

1. The President must dismiss Hajia Boya Gariba and Haruna Iddrisu as
Ministers of State. Their conduct has brought the name of our country
into disrepute. The international community and media are observing
how the nation handles this matter.
2. The President should institute an enquiry into the assault and the
findings made public.
3. The President should also act on the assault case against his
spokesperson, John Jinapor

I believe there are more and
probably better qualified people from the North that are available for your consideration for the Cabinet positions, assuming you are bent on giving the two Ministerial positions to Northerners or people of Northern descent. There is nothing wrong about that.
To me, those two guys fits the description of thugs and for that reason if the allegation of what happened in Tamale is found to be true, you should have no sympathy for them, they deserve to be relieved of their Cabinet posts.
You should at least draw a line that should not be crossed by your appointees be it a Cabinet Minister or not, and also, your assertion to them that you do not condone nor expect any unruly and thuggish display from any appointee be it a Cabinet Minister or any other.
Let them know that you are in charge.

KUFUOR’S BANKRUPT SON TURN’S OVERNIGHT BILLIONAIRE -Part I Special report

The journey from bankruptcy and rags to riches, stretches a million miles. Sometimes, it’s a lifetime journey. But when you have the right name as Edward Agyekum Kufuor, and your father is John Agyekum Kufuor, President of the republic of Ghana, that journey can be covered overnight. October 5, 2000. It was three months away from Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor being crowned President of Ghana. But one of his sons, Edward Kufuor, now a billionaire and his Black American wife Renee Jackson Kufuor were facing an embarrassing financial crises forcing them to appear before a US Court for voluntary bankruptcy.

Together, the couple owed up to about 49 creditors in a combined debt of about $50,000. The couple were so broke that they could not even pay for the $600 wedding ring Edward Kufuor used to marry his wife. The other bills included telephone, medical bills, books, magazines, credit card, insurance, clothings, household goods and whole lot of items.

Bankruptcy is a legal proceeding in which people who cannot pay their bills file a case in a bankruptcy court to immediately stop all their creditors from seeking to collect debts from them. Under chapter 7 of the US Federal Bankruptcy Law, a petitioner asks the court to discharge them from their debts.

By 2001, a company called Four Our Seed, LLC, registered in the State of Louisiana which lists Edward Kufuor and one Philip Britton as owners was rendered “Not Active”. The company could not even file their annual report, until their license to conduct business was eventually revoked on November 18, 2005.

In 2002, another company called News Stars International Group, LLC also owned by Edward Kufuor, Kendris Brumfield and Irvin Robins and registered in the State of Louisiana also became “Not Active” by October 15, 2002. On March 21, 2003, the company collapsed and was dissolved

On May 21, 2002 another company RJ Quest International, LLC, registered in the State of Louisiana by both Edward Kufuor and Kendris Brumfield with the duo as shareholders and managers became “Not Active” and eventually had its license revoked by Louisiana Secretary of State on September 15, 2006.

In August 29, 2004, another company owned by Edward Kufuor and his Black American wife Renee Jackson Kufuor called NANABA LLC, also became “Not Active” The Louisiana Secretary of State revoked the company’s license on November 16, 2007. Nanaba in an Akan word which means the ‘King’s son’.

Earlier in May 2007, two properties owned by the ‘King’s Son’, Edward Kufuor and his wife Renee Jackson Kufuor, was seized by a Civil Court of the Parish of New Orleans in a civil case entitled Omni Bank Vrs. Edward Kufuor and Renee Jackson Kufuor Kufuor.

The District Sheriff in the Parish said he sold the two properties belonging to Edward and Renee Kufuor “by virtue of a writ of seizure and sale to me directed by the Honorable, The Civil District Court of New Orleans”

The Sheriff Said he proceeded to sell the properties by public auction “On the ground floor of the Civil District Court building, 421, Loyola Avenue, on May 3, 2007, at 12 O’clock” to recover an amount of One Hundred and Eighty Thousand, Five Hundred and Twenty Four dollars, Twenty Four Cents ($180,524)

In the midst of this crisis, the “King’s Son” Edward Kufuor and his American wife left the United States and moved to Ghana, where his father is really a KING-President of the Republic of Ghana.

Just when they arrived in Ghana in 2007, the President’s son was given a nice resettlement package, sponsored by the Ghanaian tax payer which turned him into an overnight billionaire.

In that year, the Electricity Company of Ghana, awarded a $1.4 million contract to his company, Aces Company Limited to supply pre-paid meters. The President’s son supplied the meters from China. This sweetheart deal brought smiles to the faces of Renee Jackson and her husband Edward Agyekum Kufuor. Stay Tuned.
