In 2008,when Late Atta- Mills won the Elections,he was followed by so many youths, like Ablakwa,Fifi-Kwatey and the host of them, whom i thought were the hope of this nation. But they turn out to be more corrupt and disappointing than the old genertion of politicians.
At times,i wonder whether we Ghanaians care to do something to influence posterity, and leave a good name like Mandela, or leave a name like Idi Amin?

So,it was when he arrived back home at the Kotoka Airport,he announced that he would involve the youth in his administration .
Someone made a comment at the time that, that was how he was. That during his time as a lecturer in Legon,he always supported School boys and girls(students).

6. Who was the Kwami Sefa-Kayi that the Prof spoke to?
With these many gaps in the short article, how are we expected to understand it? I wonder if the article was worth writing at all.

By your utterances, you have proved to be one of the few humane educated persons in Ghana.
It is pathetic how all the past and the present leaderships ignored/ignores the unprivileged, impoverished, the Sick, the Elderly
,the pitifully unconcerned general attitudes towards the weak poor and venerable in the Ghanaian Society.
Sometimes,I ask myself what do the Ghanaian elected President thinks the people voted for him to do !."To build and promote his political party" Oh, no no no
Ghana should endeavor to have a common National Development Plan for the Nation. And NOT a party development plans for the nation.
The difference between the two is that, any political party that finds itself into Power should have to Continue with the development from where the previous leadership left off.
I have said several times on this site that in Ghana, people come out of School with honors to be the CEO or whatever only to add more problems to existing ones.
The counterpart in the Western world get the position to find a common sense approach to
alleviate or reduce hardships if possible,to make life affordable or worth living.
Leadership in particular and,Ghanaians in general need a break from the past unconcerned attitudes towards our own peoples.
Thanks again, Opanyin Kofi Agyekum.
