government should get private investors to invest in our highways so that government can concentrate on feeder roads which are less attractive. spreading limited resources thinly will not yield the desired impact.

Ghanaians need more details instead of such blanket loose statements, which doesn't serve any purpose whatsoever. So gov't should make the specifics available and the exact details so Ghanaians can monitor progress of work. This "I will, I will" business is just not going to cut it. The opposition, think tanks, CSO's, clergy, media, etc, etc, should do well to ensure that Ghanaians are holding the gov't's feet to the fire to hold our politicians accountable so they don't engage in the ususal propaganda which is sending Ghana into the abyss.

Our road net work has been of very low or poor standard, the only quality road to me it the Tema motor way. We must construct roads that conform to international standards, it will save the country many billions of cedis. Lets avoid the system of contractors engaging in shoddy work and paying their way out to engineers, and other government officials. This result is in repeated construction of the same road over and over again. Ghana roads abr3. If for any reason, poor roads are constructed by shoddy constructors they must be held responsible for its maintenance for a number years to come same as its done in the UK. For poor quality of roads, its a prosecution, fines and a ban forever. Lets people do the right things in Ghana for goodness sake. Enough of the kickbacks to inspectors etc.

When road construction is been discussed,I think the Gov`t should look through the country as a whole and not just parts of it.A country is not made up of the Capital but other cities,towns villages etc. Good roads in a count ...

When road construction is been discussed,I think the Gov`t should look through the country as a whole and not just parts of it.A country is not made up of the Capital but other cities,towns villages etc. Good roads in a country is sign of development,Ghana is outside the "topic development" because there not good roads in majority of the places in the country.Even most areas that made up the capital city are without roads even good roads and we are shouting development for a country of dusty roads. I will be happy if the Gov`t will take of issues like this. I think if politicians will stop fighting themselves and think of the betterment of the country will do much good.
