I've posting here on Ghanaweb the need for GFA and Min. Of Sports to sponsor Coach Kwasi Appiah and his assistants to embark on quick coaching refresher courses in say Brazl, Spain, Germany and Holland. I believe our authorities have a good ear about that. But it's strange to read some so-called sports experts rubbishing the idea. Football has evolved over the years and continues or it's an on-going thing! Coach Sackey has revealed here that there's an up-coming coaching workshop in England which indicates that even the world's best coaches are always in tune with modern tactics or information as pertains to the sport or game. So I wonder why coaches like Osam Duodu who hold a FIFA Class 1 certificate and others should be rubbishing the idea of having our coaches upgrade their knowledge into modern football. It's as if Ghana's standard of football is the best! We haven't even reached semi-finals in any World Cup; 2014 will be our 3rd appearance since Ghana was born. I hope Hon. Sports Minister, and GFA boss have already read this piece. May God help us as we prepare for WC-2014. I also hope we'll engage our Stars in quality friendlies so we may cause the world to sit up in the tournament, in June.

Germany are hoping to steal a march on their World Cup rivals by constructing a purpose-built training base from scratch for the finals in Brazil.
While England have chosen a hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Joachim Low's men will be in housed in a brand-new, secure complex (above) of 14 two-story houses based around a central building and pool close to a coastal sports resort near Porto Seguro.
England's choice of a hotel in Rio has been the subject of scare stories about open sewers nearby and security risks from a nearby favela, though the FA insists the squad are completely happy with their base.
Germany's base - 'Campo Bahia' - is within two hours' flight of the group venues in Salvador, Fortaleza and Recife, as well as other host cities including Rio, Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte.
It is being built by a Munich-based property entrepreneur, and the German FA said in a statement the training pitches and a media centre were within five minutes' walk.
National team manager Oliver Bierhoff said: "Given the size of the country and the sometimes very large distances between individual venues, it was important to us to minimise travel stress as much as possible.
"Acclimatisation and recovery will play a major role at the World Cup and the resort offers ideal conditions to prepare for the early kick-off times and the expected heat and high humidity in Salvador, Fortaleza and Recife."
He added: "The 2010 World Cup in South Africa showed that having short distances between the team headquarters, training area and media centre are very important for all concerned: players, coaches and media representatives alike.
"The squad can have their own space but at the same time it is all in a relatively small space and there is a central complex which will help promote team spirit. I am sure that this will have a positive impact on the atmosphere and the mood."

If he is looking for job ln ghana, I think ball boy is quiet job for him. Please, GFA president, consider this basket ball coach since things are really tough.
