The way he rosed through the ranks within a short span,I am not surprised he died so early.That is how God programmed his life.How could such a nice gentle man who I first met at an automobile workshop die so early.

I followed his programs and it brought memories of my youth when I used to listen to the voice of another illustrious son of Ghana on BBc- Cameron Duodu. May He rest in peace

At the end of the day, it is our own Africans doing the disgracing, That was Komla's job. Of all the numerous departments at the BBC, they gave him the Africa desk which is BBC Africa, which tells you he had no business doing Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Balkans, Scandinavia, etc. If they had given him any of the desks I mentioned, there would have been an uproar from those countries! They also make sure your accent depicts you as an African so if they cannot see your black face, at least the accent will give you away! I went to school with obroni from kindergarten so I know what I'm talking about!!
