In NDC's and Mahama's administration this is no news.Because if Mahama and his henchmen, family, and girl friends are looting the country left and right, every Ghanaian is also finding his own ways and means to get his or her share of the booty. After all a whole president bribed the judges, chiefs, the clergy and the country security forces and ascended to the seat of the presidency. So Mahama has shown Ghanaians extortion, bribery, create, loot and share. The police should leave the poor man alone. It is now survival of the fitters in Ghana.. Mahama's government is the cause of all such things He has lost confidence and respect from Ghanaians.

As far as I know, the law on bribery seeks to stamp out such incidence by penalizing both the giver and the receiver of bribes. Therefore, both the villains who designed and implemented this scheme (i.e. the receivers of the bribe) as well as the so-called victims (i.e. the givers of the bribe) are equally liable under the criminal laws of Ghana.

Therefore, I am at a loss as to why only the receivers of the bribe have been the focus of this investigation and prosecution. Even the above story gives the impression that the givers of the bribe are just helpless victims and the real villains are the receivers, but that cannot be true because in the eyes of the law, both the giver and the receiver of bribe are, to use a Latin maxim, particeps criminis (i.e. equally blameworthy in criminal law). Oh Ghana is an interesting place to live in because ignorance abounds everywhere!!!
