This is one aspect of gorvenance where
openness will cut bribery and corruption by about the same percentage that govt. spends on expenditure.The strange thing though is that politicians across the spectrum never sound like this because the practice of the very opposite of this is the major source of stealing the people's money.In fact the absence of the practice of open contracting encapsulates all that is wrong with governance-talk about chronyism,bribery('10 percentism')downright thievery,et al.
