We seem to have so soon forgotten, that Mahama INHERITED the Presidency at the death of Mills, and not through his personal intellectual adequacy.
He openly demonstrated his abilities during the 2012 election campaign, combating Akufo-Addo's "Free SHS for All children" education scheme, with his excellence in jaw twisting 'ede bee keke', mesmerising the majority of Ghanaian voters.

"As it stands, it is very clear that our current managers of the economy are lost".
The statement above goes equally for Mahama as well. He does not even know what the problem is. How do we expect him to take the right decision when he doesn't know what is at stake?
Therefore, if all they can produce, so to speak, is "sh**", then he has to find someone capable of selling that 'sh**' to Ghanaians. Just like twisting his lower jaw did the trick.

In the first place, I don't believe this NPP propaganda paper. For some time now after the loss of their silly election petition (when even the evidence from their witness-in-chief Bawumiah should've been disallowed under rules of evidence because it was hearsay) and President Mahama has gotten down to the serious business of running the country, they haven't gotten anything to write about for Ghanaians to buy into-- not even the silly utterances from such so-called pressure groups as AFAG and CFA. The former criticized the president for taking his vacation elsewhere when they didn't see anything wrong with Kuffour disrespecting the whole country for going on AWOL in Europe for almost two weeks without any official announcement during the second term of his presidency.
Even if it was true that the president didn't consult the named persons, he was within his rights especially if he felt Ben, with his brilliance, knowkedge, and experience would streamline his communications outfit.
Ghanaians born after 1966 are now getting to know the true colors of the NPP and the history of of their predecessors: selfish, ethnocentric, murderers, slogan-shouting democrats, wanton looters from the national coffers (Busia took a salary advance, Jones Ofori-Atta et al collected allowances for boarding and lodging while receiving these services for free at a state hotel etc etc).
This is desperation in no uncertain terms with another looming defeat in the 2016 elections.
