Does he deserve to continue to enjoy this protection? NO? He has abused the respect and patience Ghanaians had for him and it's time for him to be held accountable. The Constitutional Review Committee should consider reviewing the indemnity clause and make it possible for him to account for his treasonable acts, or at least for concerned citizens to sue him, in lieu of criminal trial, for the unlawful murders.

"Achieving happiness, welfare and dignified living for nationals and their families is the preoccupation of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This ranking would not have been possible without the efforts of sincere men, excellent teamwork and full coordination and integration between all local and federal government sectors.

All this requires, among other things, joint efforts and policies and laws that are suitable for society, achieving security, justice and safety, taking care of underprivileged groups and the continuous development of infrastructure. This cannot be achieved without having clear-cut plans and excellent teams and taking the best advantage of the resources that are available to us.

HH Sheikh Mohammed finalized his great words adding:"We will continue forward to serve our country, achieve happiness for our sons and to invest all that we have to prepare people to make them able, strong, and skilled enough to achieve success. I say to all our people: be hopeful because we all overcame a lot of challenges in the past, and because our present is full of achievements, and our future is promising and is based on the highest ambitions" His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid concluded.

Rawlings has a clean conscience because he is blameless. he hasn't shed anybody's blood to bother his head over such vain accusations.

Go and figure out what killed your father and stop disturbing our peace of mind. On June 16, 1979, he died at the stakes because that was what he had prepared himself for. Other high-ranking Ghanaian military didn't go that way because that was not the path they chose to tread.

Rawlings is just a tormented soul. Dumb as he is, he still has nightmares because in his lucid intervals he wishes that he were dead. His children have now learnt enough about their coward thieving rogue of a father to be ashamed of him. His wife is so ashamed of him she would have left him but for the fact that she would then have to account for the state properties he stole and gave to her.

So the whole family now know that they are cursed and all wish that the coward murderer would die. But that is not going to happen until he parades himself stark naked in the streets of Ghana!

Today, Rawlings will stand in public and declare that he and his gang had to execute some innocent officers because the had no choice, but to do that!"

I still remember how he caused fear and panic among Ghanaians by imposing curfew; people became frightful. In those dark and quiet time his AFRC/P-NDC agents would haul daughters of Ghanaians, most of whom were petty traders to army barracks and misuse these pretty girls; some of them had babies without fathers. John Mahama's govt. should conduct a census or open a forum for Ghanaians to come out with to express their pain. To me it's not over, although ex-Prez. Kufour's National Reconciliation was supposed to heal wounds and unite Ghanaians or allow grieving families to forgive and forget everything. When Rawlings could arrogantly and boastfully make public declaration that he and his murderous gang had the right to execute innocent officers, I'd say it's not over yet! The day of reckoning is here!

Rawlings has to be hauled before the courts for trial. Ghanaians have now seen or heard it with their own eyes and ears that after those heinous executions, Rawlings and his gang turned around to engage in the same crimes that they had accused his victims of, even at higher levels. Rawlings doesn't have the right execute anyone on the face of this planet, and I don't give a damn whatever he and his murderous gang would want to tell their PDCs, WDC's and NDC thugs. He doesn't have the right to kill anyone and I believe, as I've always pointed out, the he needs to be prosecuted.

His own NDC party members and his close pals have been caught in many crimes that are unprecedented in Ghana's political history, yet he has the guts to call noblemen like Kuffour and others criminals and thieves. Lord have mercy on us!

When the Woyome judgement payment scandal surfaced, people pointed to him to the fact that Alfred Agbesi Woyome was his close pal; he denied it, only to be shown a picture in the media of him and Woyome stand close to him and his wife somewhere, probably in his own home. Rawlings is a serial liar and a con man who knows how to manipulate our uninformed people, mostly those living in small towns and villages causing them to shout and jeer at innocent people because Rawlings will look into their eyes and lie to them. Soon many more of the grieving families will come out to demand justice.

This is the downside of the Truth and reconciliation Commission which was a farce without justice. Does he deserve to continue to enjoy this protection? NO? He has abused the respect and patience Ghanaians had for him and it's time for him to be held accountable. The Constitutional Review Committee should consider reviewing the indemnity clause and make it possible for him to account for his treasonable acts, or at least for concerned citizens to sue him, in lieu of criminal trial, for the unlawful murders.

He was the Chief of Defence Staff or so in1966. He was shot dead or executed by the Major Afrifah and Colonel Kotoka clique. His crime? He opposed the CIA financed coup. Those who paid for the coup are still enjoying good life across the Atlantic. Where are the coup makers? General Bawah, a Mamprugu, from the northern region was simply doing his duty, respecting the Constitution of Ghana. This is the beginning of the killings in the Armed Forces.

Rawlings is a con-man like Mugu Yaro in a fiction comic which used to appear in Spectator News Paper in the '70s.

His atrocities should not be revisited at all because he caused much pain to individuals and families which were of no justification. Knowing how coward he is, that is why he made sure to have an indemnity clause inserted in the present Consititution for him and his bandits to evade prosecution which even would not have been an automatic for his conviction.
