All Mahama wanted was to be President in order to cover his tracks in the EMBRAER plane purchase. Gen Amidu then Attornet General made us understand that Mahama was suspected by his boss Prez Mills as being corrupt in the whole purchase and therefore ordered investigations into it. It is said that down the line, stalwarts of the party impressed on then Mills to halt it because the result might bring disgrace to the party and send them into opposition. Knowing too well that Mills didn't stand a chance into a second term, they murdered him and used every means including conniving with Afari Gyan to rig the elections in his favor in order to cover his tracks before leaving office to go and enjoy his booty. I wonder why journalists did not quiz him on this issue when they had the chance because this came from his own camp and party-NDC

We all remember how often the immediate former Vice President travelled to deputise for the immediate former(late) president. This wqas all in preparation for the take over of the leadership of the country in case of emergency, which actually occurred in July 2012.
Would it not be proper for the current president to make available the same opportunity to the current vice president? Or is the current president afraid of his own shadow?
All said and done, that recent follow on trip to Dubai was waste of our resources!

A president who doesn't know what to do at home,flies around like a moth to a flame.Frankly,it doesn't speak well of him at all.He APPEARS TO BE BUSY FOR NOTHING.We live in an age where even President Obama runs America with a PEN AND HIS BLACK-BERRY

Ghanaians are not stupid,you know,we watch all this stuff...wasting jet-fuel Cedis like there is no tomorrow.It shows pomposity and showmanship and that is not what even his ardent supportes like me want to see.

I want to see a Stay-Home president who rolls his sleeves and get to his office by 5:30 AM every morning to tackle the Nation's Business.That is what Dr. Kwame Nkrumah did,and that is why he was able to accomplish so much in 9 years.Dei-Annan once wrote:

I want Mahama to learn from this style

please CUT THE TRAVELS and put your nose on the grinder.I like you but I don't enjoy seeing you running away from the very same people who voted for you.The Jetsons Age belongs to those who make airoplanes,not us.We still travel to fetch the family water on our heads.

Besides abdicating his responsibilities due to the meaningless trips, some of which are ostensibly to hook up with his numerous paramours scattered all over the world, the cost of such travels is enormous as he travels with a huge entourage who contribute nothing to those trips other than collecting per diems and going shopping at public expense.Between free housing and utilities, free multiple SUV's and drivers, free gasoline and multiple phones and huge per diems from meaningless overseas travels in business and first class, no wonder public expenditure absorbs 80 percent of the national revenue and thus leaving nothing for infrastructural development. A hopeless and wasted Presidency and wasted space!

Poku is right. President should sit down and address the local issues and if he thinks 2016 will be easy for him and the NDC he should reverse his note now. The hardship is too much and he should sit down and find solution to them. NPP lost in 2008 as a result of numerous travels by Kufuor which did not benefit ordinary Ghanaian who voted for him so Mahama should think twice and stop junketing around the globe.
