Isupport the redeployment of teachers to the rural areas because there a lot of empty classrooms in the villages,i teach in rural area and know the situation in those areas.
If there are vacancies, why doesn't the MOE advertise and add the reasons why they expect people to move from cities to rural areas? If they let people know the incentives that go with the appointments, don't you think people ...

the problem is the authorities in charge of posting. every year newly trained teachers are posted to the cities and yet they complain of large number of teachers in the cities.they should not try redeployment, some of us are ...

how accurate are these figures.For all we know most of the names are ghost /fake names. This is a way of NDC goverenment bringing education down once again..
And where are the surplus teachers?
this trend will get worse over the years, the scraping off of the trainees allowance will give no justification for teachers to be posted to de rural areas.
How can there be surplus teachers when some areas have no teachers? Maybe the title should be surplus teachers in cities?
