  Is our president not a man?
  If a father cannot defend,support,back a child,who has been cheated,bullied,beaten for so long,what makes him a father of the child?
  MAHAMA SHOULD STAND STRAIGHT WITH HIS CHEST OUT,AS ONE LEADING A PARADE,BUT NOT TO BOW TO THESE BULLIES,CHEATS,EXPLOITERS,WHO HAVE PLAYED ON OUR MINDS AND TAKEN US FOR A RIDE,FOR SO LONG.
  I don't know when he will stand as a man,to force for our nation,that has suffered for too long,in the midst of plenty.
  WE NEED A CHANGE,FOR IT IS NECESSARY IN EVERY SUCCESS EQUATION.

  Everything now is as the result of the GREED of Ghanaians... to get rich quick which ever way.
  Our KENTE designs are pirated by the Chinese with impunity without paying a pesewa for it and our copyright administrators are silent on it. How...how...how!!! Our hard working weavers can earn good returns on their unique designs but because of the greed of some individuals the Chinese are cashing in big time...we need to put a stop to all these.

  You can't develop to middle income status when you only focus on raw material exports. We've been mining gold in Ghana for over a century and it's about time we moved from shipping out gold concentrate to building processing plants to increase returns for the nation. The Newmonts, AngloGolds etc. are fine with the status quo cos it translates to maximum profits for their share holders at the expense of your average Ghanaian. Legislation is the only solution.

  Nkrumah had a vision of a gold refinery in Tarkwa, Ghana let's make sure it happens.Then legislate so that all mining forms operating in the coutry are required to process their gold there.This will create jobs, better metal accounting of how much is produced by the miners, even neihbouring countries can process their gold here etc. Mali is buildong one why not Ghana.Too many guys running institutions they don't understand very well. Mining is about benefit from the whole value chain not just selling the mineral exports, We need to look into that.It is always difficult for our professionals to be employed in their country of birth than outside. For most countries in Africa it is the opposite Currently I don't think we even get the benefits of the byproducts of silver in the gold we produce.

  Should we not help these people to help themselves and our nation, instead of harrasing them? Surely they are only trying to make a living using our heritage, gold. Let us help them to extract gold in an environmentally-friendly manner.
