neutral body.It will also help if the E.C is made to open countrywide elections 2 weeks before the official election begins.This will prevent a repeat of the long lines and the and confusion that makes it possible for all kinds of tricks to be used on unassuming and vulnerable voters when they are forced to wait in long lines under the scotching sun and their desperation is used by corrupt election officials to rig elections.United States, a leader in mordern democratic and transparent elections and governance issues did same during their last elections and I don't see why Ghana can't do the same.With the use of biometric equipment and all its delays and mulfunctioning,I think a couple of weeks grace period that permits voters to take their time to vote will make it possible for more people to vote ahead of the actual voting day,this way reducing or eliminating all the problems experienced during peak voting times.
