  La Cote d'lvoire is far advance and attractive for foreign direct investment than Ghana so don't even make comparism.They have first class roads network to all part of the country,steady supply of water and electricity even thou we sell electricity to them and more over stable currency,high per capital income and the best country in agriculture production probably in africa and vibrate population.

  It's not surprising that the President of Ghana Association of Industries, Mr Asare-Adjei, is calling for Ghana to emulate Cote d'Ivoire. This writer has expressed on many occasions in Ghanaweb that the way Ghana has been conducting its politics, Cote d'Ivoire will overtake Ghana in economic and infrastructural development, and advance world recognition. There have been too much political disagreements with the government and these have affected our economic prospect for the future. There should be a rethink about the way people do politics and what we aim to achieve, economically. Otherwise, as Ghana kept aloof in the past as countries like Singapore and Malaysia, in Asia, forged ahead to develop - leaving Ghana behind in development for more than four decades, so will Cote d'Ivoire and other countries along the west coast of Africa, develop ahead of Ghana if people continue to do negative and destructive politics. There must be some sort of cohesion among the political divide to move the country forward. After all, since the advent of democracy in 1992, the government has alternated between the two main parties, NDC/NPP, and this trend is going to continue for sometime; so the opposing party must bide their time to govern; and stop evoking hostilities and sabotaging government plans for the greater good of the country.
