  NII; Please get your historical facts RIGHT and stop this tribalist "NONSENSE' and get things in the correct perspective ;in the first the GAS have no lands ; they are squatters on the present lands that they call GA lands ; the original owners of the land are the Guans who are the original Ghanaians ; the Ashantis are not; neither are the Northners ;the Fantis are part of the Ashantis and part are from the Ivory Coast; neither are the Ayigbe /EWEs ; the current owners/sqatters of Pokuase land are Akwamus and their lineage are from Otublohum in Accra ; they owe alligiance to the Akwamu clan ;this every year they go to AKwamu festival ; they inter married with the Gas ; the presents so called GA lands were given to the Gas when they came across from Nigeria through Benin and Togo by the Guans who are people from Aperide; Lartheh; Akropong; Aprew etc these are the original Ghanaians before the name Ghana ; Gold Coast was brought into being ;the lads were given to them on grounds of war alliagiance to fight the Akwamus who were accomplished fighters and were given the Guans trouble ; the GAS historically have no Land but as squatters who were given the land they have rights but historically that does not make the owners ; every person on this earth was put somewhere by God but by reason of migration people have moved from place to place but that does not make them the original OWNERS of the land ; this idea that the Akan will push Gas into the sea is nonsense ; the simple fact is that GAS as custodian of the land have mismanaged the land in Accra ; instead of GAS to realise and seek good legal advice on the matter of land in Accra they rather keep on fightinmg amongst themselves ; besides nobody is so a land a frehold basis ; all lamnds in Accra are all on lease holds for number for number of years that means that ; after a certain number of years the lands will revert back to it original owners thereforefore this MISCHIEF and FULLISH TRIBALISTIC TALK; please read your history well astop this tribalistic RUBBISH !!!!!!!!!1

  Nii, the ewes are rather taking over ga land and not the ashantis,asahantis will always retire back to their towns and villages. have you ever seen an ewe who retires and go back to eweland? i remember growing up when pokuasi used to be a village we always visit when time for akronue( homowo)festival and it used to be very peaceful
