These contracts were given to only Northerners as if People from Southern Ghana are not qualified. If such a policy would have been adopted against the people of Northern descent, they would have been complaining of discrimination.

The destitution of the North is not because of Southerners discrimination but by Northern Politicians and business elites cheating the poor Northerners. More than $100 million has been poured into SADA since Mahama became President and all we have to show for it is 70 boreholes and two guinea fowl eggs?

Selfishness , greediness and lack of empathy for our own folks when opportunites are given to us. Who talks for the voiceless for which this projects are for? Why are we not sympathic to our own people? It beats my mind why people are so , so insensitive. SADA projects where limited to some few stakeholders especially from the 3 northern regions. We hear some of these things because we now have some level of transparency. Our elite folks are the cause of our problems in the northern Ghana. They just exploit on the vulnerability of their own people. We need to educate our folks in the Northern Ghana to disregard these greedy leaders. They take "all" they have and give them "little"Sadly those who need to interrogate some of these faulty projects are not doing so. So who is doing what?

Vitus Azeem where have you been for the past two year when these company openly call all northerns foolish and stupid. Vitus should say he didnt know our money is been you to plant trees and guinea fowl farming.

What has tree planting got to so with devolpment yet we sit as fools and lets someone steal our money.
Who from the north will call tree planting a devolpment. Our fathers has all rear guinea and hens, the only you see a guinea in a cage is its it end of live. Our fathers were not stupid by letting guinea fowl its freedom. Guinea fowls are free range birds and dont like enclosures.
Let stop complain about John Mahama and think how useless we are to allow one person sell from everybody from the regions. They didnt steal the money from the government, its the children of the people of the three regions they stoled from. Your own suppose brother stealing millions of cedis while you day cant get you school fee because his job never came.
The money Azeem is talking about doesnt exir anymore and northers will never get that money back. We all knew the money wasnt going to be use for northerns when trees planting started in rain and guinea in the dry season.
We are stupid always thinking government through somebody else is not our money and when they spend the money we than complaining to the one who gave the money.
When we see people wasting your money the government gave you though somebody you have to shout and shout out loud for it to stop. Some people call it corruption, I dont, I call it stealing. Whoever may spent the money with him is a thief not a corrupt office.
If you give a contract $2 million to do a job, you expect a $1.9 to go into the work. If John Mahama is asking for a $1million as a donation to his party why on earth do expect this contractor to do the job.
Planting trees is a good excuse to steal the money in the view of John Mahama without the northerners knowing.
Vitus should stop sleeping and waiting for things to go bad.
When this program was announced by Mills and said bridging the devolpment gab between the north and south, we all openned our mouths and said thank you.
You know what we didnt do, we didnt nothing because we couldnt be bored to know how the the money was suppose to bridge the gap.
If these contracts thinks planting trees will bridge the gap and we said nothing for two years, they may be right to steal the money. What else do northerners think the money should have used for, why complaint now when the contracts were using the money right infront you rearing guinea fowls.
Northerners behaves like monkey, they put the food in their mouths thinking its their food. Its never the monkeys food when it hear a gun shot. Always some close yet far away Northerner. The only two things the the whole of the regions thats ever work is Vie and Tono irrigations. Its thats all what the northerner wants or can we do better. Over 50 years of suffering in the north yet we allow one person to steal million of cedis that belong to us.
Its hard to call myself a northern when you see somebody stealing from your suffering brothers and sisters and do nothing about it when you can.
We need to know were every cedi is gone. Where did this company buy the guinea fowls egg and the trees from.
A shame to all Northerners, no northerner should say it is it his or money. Its northerners money not the government. The money was not for any other ghanaian except northerners. We should be ashame of ourselvies.

If enough consultation where done to explore viable poverty reduction options, all these could have being avoided. In any case there are brilliant research lying in the libraries that can assist us look at viable options to improve the lives of folks in the north. Totally dissappointed and think that as suggested we should over haul that whole SADA project. All stakeholders should meet and deliberate on viable options to improve the life of our people.. We should be as transparent as possible and let things work. The discerning Ghanaian these days will vote for leaders who are obviously empathy, not greedy / selfish and work to see improvement of the less privillage.We are watching...

The eport enfazises the authenticity of the Goal of the project and therefore need must it be continued, maybe under a different contractor with more vigilant and checking mechanisms.
GYEEDa has seen a new management, likewise SADA, so lets keep on with these development projects. obviously having weeded out the badnuts.

Investigation into the activities of Sada would not yield any positive result as the principal beneficiary was the president himself. The various modules ie guinea fowl and tree planting we're fashioned to loot and share with the president to finance his campaign in 2012 . Mahama has stabbed his fellow northerners in the back. The Guinea fowl project if properly implement could have lifted tens of thousands of northerners out of the poverty bracket. Yet this project was not even seen in most districts of the north. In my own west Gonja district, there isn't a single Guinea fowl initiative from Sada . I have enquired from most districts and there is any such intervention from Sada . The question we ask is why Prez Mahama could beso callous to his own kinsmen. Would Papa J or Gentle Giant have messed up such a noble project meant for Eweland or Ashanti kingdom. It is time we northerners stopped blaming southerners for our woes. Very interesting questions have been asked about the whole Sada saga. First of all what demonstrable experience did Agambire have in tree planting and guinea fowl production that they had to be awarded the contract. For a company that was into ict, it was just incongruous for Agambire to accept such a job even if his company is the only one in Ghana . As we speak and wail over the Sada spilt milk, One of the key officials under the tree planting project has smartly transformed himself into an exporter of butternut after looting from Sada. He is now vying to represent his constituency in parliament on the ticket of my NDC. Such people should that one day they will account for their stewardship both here and the hereafter . They God of the poverty stricken northerners whose portion of the national cake they have rapaciously stolen shall gag them when the law finally catches up with them or when they appear before God.

Whose hide are they trying to save? Kofi Kumado has said he's not going down alone, Abuga Pele is saying he doesn't want to believe they would sacrifice him, because of how he has "served and contributed" to the fortunes of the party, stopping short of saying I don't think you want us to go that route. The looting is murky, it goes and runs very deep and the political gimmickry just would not wish the rot away. However, the only way to get to the very bottom of this matter is to send NDC out in 2016, that is the only way, because the impetus and will to unravel the looting is just not there.

I absolutely agree with Mr. Azeem on all the suggestions I believe it will be prudent to chase the guys who messed up with money earmarked for vialble projects to the benefit of our brothers and sisters in northern sector of this blessed Nationof ours. Anybody found responsible with misappropriating funds of this magnitude should be forked out and persecuted at the law courts. Please the judiciary what are you all doing? Don't you care? what is really going on? Mr. President please act quicly and so listen to every wise advice we are all watching,those of in the diaspora helps a lot with hard currency into the coffers also and you know it.Do not allow people in this country take our sweat as their own and continually do things and go scott free, enough is enough thanks.

Any leader in his right mind, will not think of a project like 'Guinea Fowl'. It does not make sense, but laughable. You do not go to the wild and hunt for guinea fowl/fowls and domesticate them and call it a national project. Wake up, my tribal brothers and sisters in politics. What the people in the north like the rest of the country want are,-health care, good education and children not being taught under trees, good purified drinking water for the tribesmen, and not drinking water from guinea worm infested rivers and lakes, good houses for the tribesmen instead of living in huts and ovens. The farmers in the north need tractors more than corrupt Ayarigas and the tribal leaders in politics who are comfortable in Accra enjoying their booty. The 'Guinea Fowi' project is a ruse to milk mother Ghana. That is the hallmark of the NDC,-National Demolishing Company. The unpatriotic party of poor, arrogant, ignorant, backward, inward looking, selfish, greedy bastards, unemployable parasites, college trained illiterates who cannot fend for themselves.
