Keep telling us lies. . Is it not a shame for a health center to close down because of indebtedness? If it were party activities or crazy debts like that of Waome, Mahama's government would have hurried up to make payments so people can get their cuts.
It is true that the people in the mentioned districts are poor but the whole NHIS needs to be revisited. The promises given by Mills cannot work and patients must be made to pay a token to maintain the health centers and hospitals. Also patients should be given prescription for them to buy in the open market instead of the government having to shoulder everything.
Let me ask what the MPs from those districts doing about this. Next time the people of those districts should vote for responsible people to represent them but not people who just give them money for Pito

There was no problem in finding eighty times what is owed this medical centre, $24.5m, to tart up an obsolete building that should be demolished. It's just a matter of priorities.

Moreover, his dirty dingy run-down structure he calls a clinic could never render services to patient worth even 10% of what he is claiming. If that is what he is claiming then then it is a grossly padded claim. NHIA must scrutinize this claim well.

Sly Mensah and his team should get out into the regions and crack the whip before things get out of hand. Nobody has to tell him about the 'full-court' negative press that is being mounted to discredit the scheme,particularly in the Ashanti Region!
