Until all political Parties who have not been able to declare their sources of funding, do so, anybody can assume that funding for their massive and ostentatious display of wealth is derived from dubious sources. Otherwise what stops them, in their curious collusion with the Electoral Commission, from declaring their sources of funding?

One cannot blame those who make the allegation that some particular political Parties are funded by illegal drug activities because they have all had high profile members who have at one time or the other, been directly and/or indirectly been publicly implicated with illegal substances (drugs).

As far as I know, throughout the political history of this country, it appears that it is only the PPP who has bravely and proudly honored that legal obligation to declare their source of funding as well as assets.

If my maths serves me right the 17 alone with the same contributions should be able to meet the entire cost of the national congress. Yes the total contributions of the 17 should amount to Ghc850,000. So how do you convince me the NPP is broke? Are the members simply refusing to contribute or they are really broke only when in opposition? How do you explain this and call this? This leaves me with more questions than answers. Folks will recall that soon after Late Prez. Atta-Mills was sworn in the NDC blocked or closed all avenues for campaign financing, in the hopes that they'd choke the NPP and other opposition parties from getting any foreign campaign contributions, from their supporters in the diaspora.

Guess what? While they chocked every party, they created lots of avenues like the Woyome's judgement debt payment among others to get huge access to campaign funds. Folks should ask NDC where did John "Aplanke Prez" Mahama get money (this is just recent) to erect the Tens of Thousands of campaign billboards before, or during the 2012 election? Atta Mills and his incompetent govt. who everyone, including party founder Mr. Rawlings had declared as a "no-hoper" was on his way to defeat had just died. So how could Ghanaians vote for Mahama who was unknows---he was just the an "Aplanke" then!

John Mahama in addition to having the Woyomization and Ibrahimization of Merchant Bank, dipped his hands into the nation's kitty to fund his campaign.
