Abortion is the termination of pregnancy which is not at term. According to statistics,from various health facilities, legal and illegal abortion is on the increase. Today many women all over the world want to avoid pregnancy and plan their family but lack access to modern contraception. Family planning is the only method that can help reduce abortion. It is therefore the responsibility of Ghana Health Service to bring family planning services to the doorstep of every individual.
