It has everything to do with understanding what the industrialized countries in the north are doing to the underdeveloped nations of the south.

Mr. Kuranchie does not understand the implications of globalization over the last few decades. He is consumed with petty politics.

We in Ghana needs a well-thought out economic change that is all encompassing and structural. We must shelf all the ludicrous economic theories and look for a more sustainable theory that is sane, humane and ecological.

Ken Kuranchie continues to show he needs God help with growing some intellectual level or common sense. Truly these are not the kind of people we need to be managing anything close to media. For starters most in Ghana, the NPP, NDC and others in between cannot bring themselves to ascertain the root causes of our woes. Martin Amidu and the Ghana Supreme Court continue to lead the rest of Ghana to its knees just as the pied piper did to children and adults with brains for children.
It is amazing to listen to some of Ghana's political and intellectual class throw away their thinking cap and accept the narrow ruling from the Ghana Supreme Court on the Woyome case without legal scrutiny and or intellectual analysis. If the narrow decision from the Woyome case is that the agreement between Woyome and government reps was not valid because it bore no approval and or signature of parliament that is fine and dandy. What the Supreme Court of Ghana never did, however, was define all government contracts as valid only when signed and or preauthorized by parliament. For it is in this vain that the Supreme Court of Ghana would fall on its own sword relative to past and ongoing contract deemed valid. There are various forms of legal binding contracts between two entities; a written agreement between government representative and a private person, foreign government and or vendor and verbal agreement between government representative and private person, foreign nation or vendor.
For example how could the Supreme Court of Ghana certify that the various disbursements of proceeds from the sale of drillship Discoverer 911 was legal since the disbursement was neither preapproved and or authorized by government? The disbursement was indeed valid because the government representatives were sanctioned by official arm of government even if they were not officially approved as representatives of parliament. Again those transactions were deemed valid because the participants did represent Ghana’s government. So it is that government agents who met and discussed procurement and construction projects with Woyome and or Waterville reps did have legal binding oral contract acting as agents of the national government statutes notwithstanding. Services and or benefits of any monetary value received by and or on behalf of government are proof of a binding agreement between government and that entity. The Justices on Ghana's Supreme Court in their infinite wisdom cannot condone government actions that would extract benefits from individuals and or foreign government and a refusal by government to pay because of failure by government agents to adhere to procurement processes.
Majority of the fleecing of the national government through undeserved contracts fall on NPP and NDC governments alike. But I know Ken Kuranchie and others would justify the unprecedented stealing and mismanagement under the Ghana@50 flagship because it was by NPP leadership. If this is the measure of morality by the likes of Ken Kuranchie and others then the Supreme Court of Ghana has no business ascribing rights and wrongs involving government expenditures. Martin Amidu is not a saint but a fame seeking legal student who makes the proverbial animal kingdom look like heaven on earth.

Do you think prayers alone will solve the cedi from sinking? The government should repent and ask for forgiveness. People are sufering all because of them. Anyone who comes into power has to fill his pocket first. Give them contract, they will buy cars and houses before they start the job. God won't solve our problems if He knows all prvious government were thieves and corrupt. We have to repent and ask for forgiveness. The gov't should help the needy and give generously to them instead of their girlfriends and co. This ex-convict should allow us to think. Small prison Atugugba sent to become Mahama's problem. You need be educated economy issues. If komla dumor were to do his journalistic work like this, do u think Ghanaians will be crying he is dead. Don't allow simple beating you received from the various prisons you tour to have negative effect on your thinking. How many articles have you publish so far on situation in the country prison? so you going to prison is not beneficial even to your colleague prisoners. You are failed journalist.
