The greatest problem in Ghana is the inability or unwillingness of people in authority to enforce law, rules and regulations. From the Executive to the Legislature and the Judiciary, none of these constitutional bodies has been able to enforce a single law, rule or regulation to the letter. Sometimes, I wonder why the Legislature passes more Acts when the existing one are diregarded. Until this cancer is uprooted and effective remedy administered, incompetency, corruption and lawlessness will continue to plague the country. The fight against poverty will be a mirage. No society can develop with indiscipline and lawlessness as has been happening in Ghana since independence.

Despite the BoG directives on business not being conducted in foreign currency (dollar), there are reports of hotels still charging dollars, yet the authorities have done absolutely nothing and kept mute. What sort of country is Ghana?

The NDC must also concede that they are a failure and need to be replaced. They have no idea what steps to take to stabilize the cedi. The are still indexing tariffs to the value of the cedi. That, by itself is dollarization.

The dollarisation of our economy started with the PNDC era, right through the NDC, NPP eras till this present day! A state that trades in other nation's currency it does not produce, is a failed state! PERIOD!

How on earth can we trade locally in dollars and continue to wonder why the cedi keeps falling???? Are we that stupid to keep playing the stupid political cheap shots between the two most useless parties? They have led us into this mess, together with our own citizens who continue to trade in dollars in our system.

Since we, as a nation fell for the madness of the IMF/World Bank's (IMF/WB) Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) and ‘globalisation’ con in December 1982, we have never been the same again.

We have forever fallen for their policies and the results are now staring us right in the face.........
importing everything from rice, sugar, tomatoes, frozen chicken to toothpicks from China........without exporting anything??????? And we wonder why the cedi is falling and failing??????

Anything we export today, is to repay both old and present debts. What a nation!!!!!!!

Our oil is nothing to bring to the fore. Ghana basically buys oil on the world market at hiked prices while our own cheaper oil is shipped quietly off to the West unchallenged. We sell our crude on the cheap to be refined and sold back to us at silly prices and we wonder why we are a FAILED NATION????

Corruption and LIES are rife everywhere, from the top, though all the ministries by so-called leaders and so-called intellectuals all the way down to our market places, churches, schools etc..............

If we, together with other African leaders had listened to and supported one of our greatest leaders in Gaddaffi and had stabilized/structured our economies by pitching our rich resources of oil and gold against the dollar.....We in Ghana would not be in such a FAILED state.

Instead we fall for the West's propaganda rhetoric and rid such a person of vision from our midst and allow our so-called leaders to sell us short.

We the citizens of Ghana are paying the price of remaining silent for far too long a time, to allow these two useless parties in NDC and NPP to play ball with us and sell all our rich resources on the cheap to their 'controllers' on the cheap and to enrich themselves and their families.

Ghanaians and more importantly AFRICANS.......WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER!!!!!! IMF/World Bank or aid can NEVER lead us anywhere! It is OUR collective thinking and hard work that
would. WE HAVE FAILED OUR CHILDREN!! SO, IT'S TIME FOR REAL CHANGE AND A BETTER WAY FORWARD!!!!!
