  How soon you guys had forgotten that the fisher men always at the middle of night at sea sacrificing animals of all kinds for good fortune in their business? And all of a sudden we forgot that any of these animals could escape the knife and as these animals are natural swimmers.
  WHY DO WE LOVE TO STOP USING OUR HEADS TO THINK OF MANY PERMUTATIONS OF POSSIBILITIES before we make statements?

  Too much of superstition has robbed Ghanaians to even know that animals are natural swimmwers whom might have escaped ritual sacrifice at sea by fisher folks who believe in stuff like that.

  The scientist thinks this is the reason why our fish-sticks are low because the cows and deers instead of grazing on grass onland are eating the fish in the sea.

  How could he not satisfy his own curiosity by conducting even a cursory interview of the fishing communities to first seek some information about recent rituals...o whatever information could explain the presence of these animals in domains they are not commonly known to inhabit?

  Maybe there's absolutely no mystery in this and we don't expect our scientist to look at it from the viewpoint of a rocket sciencist.
  
  We have animals near our coasts. When threatened, they could jump into the sea and realize their mistake BECAUSE they are animals. WE all know animals can stay afloat in waters which explains why they were living when they caught and they were caught because they didn't drown. Maybe others in similar circumstances weren't lucky but we can't know because no one ever "caught" a dead animal in the sea.
  
  The other day I read someone who said the cow was caught under the sea, which was impossible and the fishermen didn't say so.
  
  I also doubt what they're calling deep sea.

  The cow belongs to the people of Winneba. Chief Fisherman Nii Kukrudu is determined that he would not let go off his free cow meat.
  
  The people of Winneba offered it for sacrifice thinking it would drown at sea. It did not drown so it rightfully belongs to them.
  
  Why should Nii Kukrudu tell them to go and come back only for him to quickly kill it and offer it as sacrifice for the Ga gods in his stomach.
  
  Anyway this should serve as a lesson to the Chiefsof Winneba as well, that next time you offer a sacrifice make sure the animal is dead infront of your eyes otherwise Chief Fisherman Nii Kukrudu would make sure the animal ends up dead as a sacrifice to the Ga gods in his stomach!

  I must state that some communities along the Gulf of Guinea used live animals to perform some sacrifice to their gods, and I strongly believe these animals might have been used to do same but managed to swim to deep sea.
