  It's just unacceptable for Pastors to
  discriminate against people when it comes to election of church officials.
  The practice where some pastors claim Ican work with this and can't work with this is unacceptable and does not show love in the church as we preach. Many a time,the poor in the church are not treated the way supposed to be in the event they have some social problems compared to the
  rich ones. Pastors often visit rich
  people in their congregation without
  thinking about the poor. In some churches especially in Columbus,Ohio,
  a Pastor (name with-held)would pray
  special prayers for congregants who
  pay tithes leaving those not paying.

  When we had just Presby, Methodist, Anglican, Roman, SDA, Baptist, Jehovah's Witnesses; we didn't have this wicked behaviour.

  THE RICH AND THE POOR STAND SIDE BY SIDE. THERE IS NO HIGH SEAT FOR THE RICH. THEONLY PERSON IN FRONT IS THE IMMAN, WHO LEADS THE PRAYER. ANYBODY CAN STAN WHEREVER THEY WANT.
  
  THE RICH HAVE NO SPECIAL SEAT. THE POOR HAVE NO SPECIAL SEAT. THERE ARE NO USHERS. FIRST COME , FIRST SERVED IS THE LAW IN THE MOSQUE. I FIND IT SO BEAUTIFUL.
  
  YOU CAN BE THE ONE WHO DONATED MONEY TO BUILD THE MOSQUE, BUT YOU HAVE NO SPECIAL PRIVILEDGE DIN THE SITTING ARRANGEMENT IN THE CHURCH.
  
  WE CHRISTIANIANS CAN LEARN FROM THIS. WE SHOULD STOP WORSHIPPING THE RICH IN THE CHURCH. IT IS NOT CHRIST-LIKE.

  "We simply do not think about the less privileged among us" .- Togbe Kotoku. This brings to mind Chritian Coucil's advocacy for mission schools to be given back to the churches to manage. Among reasons assigned by the General Secretary of that council was plans to enhance teacher remuneration thereby entihising them to raise teacher performance. I'm wondering whether the Chritian council has factored in the interests of the less endowed in the society? Definitely, this would further result in further widening the Socio-economic divide. Togbe's statement is therefore spot on.
