  Sad to hear that the ITUC is backing living wages for ghanaian workers who are corrupt,lazy and unproductive.Rather the ITUC should advise ghanaian workers to be productive and stop stealing monies belonging to the state .With their present level of poor productivity and unbridled corruption ghanaian workers,especially in the public sector do not even deserve their present wages.

  we thank the ITUC. The TUC should learn sense from the ITUC to improve the conditions of the masses of the poor by pushing for living wage.

  The solution, to me is not an increase in minimum wage. After all, the TUC are being selfish. How many Ghanaians are lucky to be in employment? about 20% in estimate. What happens to about 60% who are unemployed? This increase in minimum wages will put pressure on inflation and hit the unemployed who are the majority. Instead, the TUC should put pressure on the Gov't for the economy mismanagement and looting of state coffers.
