For your information, Tanii is a derogatory term used to make a mockery of Northerners meaning they are fools or stupid and we know that the term has gained currency in recent days mostly from you NPP pinksheet sore losers simply because a Northerner who is not respected by the Akan dominated NPP happens to be the president of Ghana. You can embellish the term in whatever way you want in your delusions thinking all Ghanaians are as foolish as your unlettered NPP followers but the meaning connotes one fact, Tanii or Ntafuo are regarded as foolish or stupid mostly by we Akans. I hope you will not cry foul if one labels asantes as "omanfrafuo" (strangers) and Akyems as "aponkye kokoofuo ( Akyem dog eaters).

I am surprised a Political Science Lecturer is unable to analyse the actions of Sir John and assumes Sir John is making money out of his unwarranted outbursts. In fact, a critical analysis of what Sir John said regarding Bawumia as a potential NPP flagbearer for 2016 is that he, Sir John is a shrewd politician. He made the statement in order to secure the votes from the three northern regions in the forthcoming National Executive elections where he is fighting to keep his position as General Secretary against a formidable threat from Kwabena Agyapong. In other words, Sir John is seeking his personal and political interest and not that of Bawumia. It's the same for his public support for Nana Akufo-Addo's NPP's presidential candidacy for 2016.

Is this Political Science Lecturer claiming that someone is paying Sir John to make statements that are detrimental to the political fortunes of NPP? That is a joke. Sir John may be careless with his utterances but he is definitely not a traitor.

He is aware that a number of the regional executives and delegates who will ultimately elect the flagbearer do support Nana Akufo-Addo so by aligning himself publicly with him, he stands a better chance of being re-elected as General Secretary.

This is simple and a Political Science student could have done this analysis and come to this conclusion rather than suspect Sir John to be a traitor within NPP.

What NPP must do and do seriously as Apraku, Wereko Brobbey and others have said, is to ANALYSE the electoral votes of each region carefully. The northern sector holds little votes, all three regions put together, amounts to perhaps half of Ashanti votes. Even with the electoral votes from the Volta added to all three northern regions will amount to nothing compared to the eastern and Ashanti Regions put together, add A sweep of Western by choosing a vice from the most populated areas of Western or Central or BRONG AHAFO, share greater Accra and it's a done deal. AFTERALL JJ never picked a Northerner as Vice, Atta Mills picked the vice 3 * , third time was the charm who now succeeds him yet a total disappointment. I will suggest Nana Akuffo Addo and BRONG or WESTERN VICE. Forget this nonsense about Northern Region, what are the electoral votes from all 3 northern regions ? ANALYSE it first. This is not a matter of tribal sentiments but in SunTse's Art of War, 5 elements are in play when you go to war.

Who will disagree with the statement made, except a tribal bigot like the less wise and less intelligent degree holder Amakye Boateng, one of the so called Ghana's degree holders for nothing people including those making themselves cheap of the legon toll booth issue.

All these so called degree holders, professors etc are lately coming out as very low mentality funny guys, who were in hiding for long, never even speaking their minds concerning Ghana's system of no active collection of taxes which today had wrecked the economy.

Shamefully, today they are out to accuse people- Mahama etc because of their personal hatred for the NDC and its present leadership.

Stupidly and foolishly they have not come out with any tangible reasons of solutions, instead have come out with their abnormal African mentality of only accusing but never help to solve anything.

I call these mindsets as village mentality. Amakye Boateng who had refused to accept the truth in Sir John's comments is one of them. What is wrong if one says the truth? Yes, Bawumia was sent to the gallow to disgrace himself so that the hidden ones take and chop.

No wonder it is said that ''monkey dey work while others dey chop''. That monkey Northerner Bawumia for sure should be the automatic presidential candidate for the 2016 if Akuffo Addo fails.

Sir John has seen the tribal Ashanti mind in the happening and he feels there could be TOO much exposure of tribalism, which will be too heavy to handle as it will come with shamefullness.

At this point, my question is where were those degree holders, the so called too know and know nothing all those past years that they could show their intelligence to propose to the whole nation of the importance of tax since it is a sine quo non to the development of any nation.

Look, 10 million working force with only 1 million paying tax, if so who are you blaming today, when you all claim you are intelligent professors, just holding degrees for nothing people.
