The last thing Legon administrators to do is taxing students. All University student should pay for using the compus streets, how stupid does it sound to parents and students. We had education in Legon and our children has to pay for our education. If we the fathers can repair a road for our children, the road we used free! There is something wrong with the parents (We and the govt).

NPP is mostly students party and must be maintain as such, we didnt pay for using the roads when we were there, why should our children pay.
The failure of old student of Legon are to be blame for the state of the compus. Accra city council with the help of employed Legon workers used to maintain all the streets in Legon and why not now.
Rawlings is useless and his name doesnt come with anything good. Why should John Mahama sack somebody he asked to do things in his name. People like Kwamina Duncan should think and think again before openning his arse to talk.

I believe that if every home owner in a community contributed a little to construct/repair their local streets, we could be better off without always depending on our useless governments. In that case, since it is a community effort, there would be no need for tolls. On the other hand, it may be appropriate to allow individuals to acquire short-term ownership (repairs/maintenance) of stretches of our major highways (no less than say 75 miles) and charge drivers to use those roads. Our governments won't fix the road, so why not look at alternatives. Just a thought.

Why has many of NPP and pretentious NPP fanatics masquerading as fair minded lecturers and or commentators so incensed with Gbevlo Lartey's action? Most of these critics may have attended Legon where most of the NPP leadership with law degrees obtained their classroom education and credentials. Is there any place well versed in using the court/judicial system to address what Gbevlo Lartey did than the folks at Legon? Who is this NPP Kwamena Duncan and what weight does he carry except act as the central region mouth piece of NPP trash talkers in a region where foolishness is a product than infrastructure development and or human development of the local kind?
The folks at Legon will act is they knew they had a solid leg to stand on and they darn well they do not. Instead they are counting on the ignorance of the public and the loud-mouth with no common sense critics to do their dirty work for them. Legon did not act in good faith, judgment and or advise and consent from the legislators; Gbevlo Lartey acted to remove the eye sore erected by the university without authority either. It will take our courts/legal system known to be nothing more than a push-over group to sort things out that is if they have the courage and or wisdom to do so without their political affiliation baggage they each carry.
