Kotoko is the most corrupt football club in Africa. It has an account in its books of account called "Expenditure to win Matches". You will be shocked to see that this is the largest expenditure besides the purchase of players. Bribes paid to referees and match officials are booked into this account. This is how they keep winning in the domestic league.

However, even the weakest team in lowly Liberia could thrash Kotoko so mercilessly is proof that this corrupt team cannot win a match unaided.

Who needs whose permission to discharge their duties is also another omnishambles we live in today?

Whiles I don't take any sides, Mr Gbevlo may be right to act on the tenets of national security because he may have not officially been informed about the university's right to the tolls and their credibility to run such checkpoint even if they have their own interest of recouping the cost of the roads.

Eh...another issue do our public universities also have autonomy for contracting private loans to undertake major projects like road construction on campuses? If yes, what mechanisms are in place to ensure fair play and again remedy abuse of their autonomous powers?

Moreso, the matter is in Parliament, the courts and on the table of the Minister of roads. He is behaving like he is in the jungle! Let us let our institutions work! What type of Gbevlo Lartey is he? The president can choose to discuss with Cabinet or whatever structure and the Presdient must give the go ahead!! How Gbevlo Latrtey goes about it (civilized or uncivilized) still must be accounted for by the President.
Now coming to issues, this is not a security threat demanding Gbevlo Lartey. This is nuisance and has its actions in acts of governance. Again the matter is on the table of and being considered by the three powerful arms of government i.e. the legislature, the judiciary and the executive. Who gave the uncontrollable powers then to Gbevlo Lartey? If you defend this action, remember Gbevlo Lartey can do other outrageous things without the knowledge of the president in the name of security. On the other hand this has nothing to do with state (understand meaning of State) security but rather public security and safety

Everyone in the country laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.

When a lady lay on the table provocatively, John Mahama, the younger robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! I will fuck you when I go to secure my loot in Dubai!"

This is called "Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do!

When the NDC robbers returned home, John Mahama (Soviet trained and CVless) told Wayome, the older robber (who has only completed Stealing Engineering in a technical school): "Big brother, let's count how much we got."

May be the time has come for him to gt some behind the scenes briefrings from people like Nana Ato Dadzie, and his immediate predecessor,Bebaako Mensah.
Given the amount of public 'beating' his boss has taken lately,he is lucky to be at post.

What they would say is that they will continue charging the fare to maintain the road, then corruption will eventually set in because money collected or income would exceed expenditure, then the temptation would arise for some money to be diverted into people's pockets.
