The Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) has in a statement described the Mahama-led administration as a “crassly incompetent and bereft government”.

They also called on Ghanaians to stand up and “seek our hope and fight for our right” due to the mismanagement of the economy by the NDC government.

According to the group, Ghanaians are “confronted with the greatest challenge of all times,” adding that, “the President and his team C men have nothing worthy to offer”.

Fellow Country Men, we are confronted with the greatest challenge of all times; the reign of a crassly incompetent and bereft government. It is obvious the President and his team C men have nothing worthy to offer.

The youth employment program has been collapsed by share greed of a few NDC men, a state treasured asset "Merchant Bank" been sold out to the NDC and members of the President's family, Woyome's money not been retrieved (and likely for the state to lose the case because the default judgment has not been contested or set aside by the AG), Waterville’s 22 million euro retrieval in limbo.

NHIS not paid providers for over 7 months, over 1.3 billion Ghana cedis not been accounted for in 2012 due ghost excess spending by MDAs, over a whopping $70million misapplied at GYEEDA, massive revenue leakage at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), the John Mahama led "baloney" $10 billion STX deal which saw Ghana paying $245 million to Korean partners as "political risk insurance". Ghana lost such amount of money in what looked like a well orchestrated scandal.

Fellow Ghanaians, it is still very magical how an Umbraer jet which was meant to cost $28.5 million after John Mahama's led negotiations was purchased at an astonishing sum of $88million(The configuration of the airplane included an extra fuel tank costing $8 million; air staircase costing $1 million and in-flight entertainment of $1.4 million.

It is however ridiculous to think that $17million was earmarked to build a hangar to house the airplane. Mr. President 'the plane dey be keke'). In the midst of all this huge scandals and vicious examples set by the president and his allies, why will they not be looking forward to acquiring a state bank for safe keeping of our looted treasury?

REWARD OF CORRUPTION

AFAG in its research, can confirm that the "African Sun" hotel been built at the airport city belongs to Waterville's Teraconi and the famous Alfred Agbesi Woyome. What an interesting combination. In all these, Ghanaians continue to suffer at the expense of such greedy bastards.

Mr. President why do you prosecute Abuga Pele of causing financial loss to the tune of $2million, while, the Italian Teraconi's Waterville has been ordered by the court to pay 22 million euro(not enforced), and the AG is yet to set aside the default judgment which granted Woyome his life time dream cash for no job done.

ECONOMY vs. CORRUPTION

It is clear that, taxpayers monies have been misused over the past 5 years. Investor confidence has dwindled. Businesses are collapsing, social vices on the rise, almost every wealth creating institution is calling for change of economic direction.

The AGI, GUTA, GEA are all calling for common sense economic policies to save the private sector. The results of lack of money due to gargantuan corruption have led to over taxation, high prices of goods and services, capital flight and cedi depreciation

MASS ACTION

Fellow Ghanaians, the time is now for us to stand up and be counted. It is our God given responsibility to rise up to the occasion. We must seek our hope and fight for our right. The Onus is on all of us; young and old, individuals and groups, rich and poor, unemployed and business men to support the cause of change.

A change of attitude and pursuit of all criminals we harbor as businessmen. We must get set anytime soon for this call to press forward for some level of integrity, accountability and transparency from government.

If you think what Professor Frempong-Boateng is saying make sense, why don't we all back him up and come together to fight against corruption, graft and thievery that are usually the hall-marks of our governments.
To attack somebody because of his tribe is not a right thing to do. I fi you have any evidence that incriminates Professor for corruption or something of that nature let us know. On the other hand if you do not have anything against him, please be respectful and courteous to him. I think you would like people to treat you in a civil and polite manner, and so do we expect you to treat others the same.

By the way, as CEO of Korle Bu, Prof Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng stole a very expensive hospital equipment donated to the hospital from Germany and sent to his clinic in Kumasi. Yet he is talking as if corruption is limited to only politicians!

I've since stopped respecting any African with a PhD, or anyone referred to as a Professor.

If at independence, Nkrumah had used a fraction of our resources to embark on ambitious mass education to instill virtues such as descipline ,love of country, anti corruption patriotism etc into the fabric of infant Ghana, we would have been like Singapore. The amount of resources used to establish the Young Pioneers (of which I was a member), the Ideiological Institute, the terror Action Troopers etc,all to make himself a tin god,could have been used to achieve the virtues I have mentioned. His kobolo of ministers started stealing under his nose without any consequences . Throwing money around for Ghanaians to give useless title such as Osagyefo, Life President ,Show Boy , Nkrumah never dies, our messiah. Unfortunately ,we still have such communists zombies among us. Yes, Nkrumah did not just have to fight Akyem/ Ashanti idiots but some Ewes as well. Your luck of knowledge of Ghana's history is shocking but understandable, seeing all the propaganda fed by the UP tradition.

Go and check the history of the UP very well and you would realize they mutually walked side by side with some Ewes till after removing Nkrumah and then the very evil seed they sown began to haunt them to today.

Nkrumah did not just do some good, he made this country strong enough to stand against the evil spirit of division.

As an Ashanti, I will always choose to fight on the side of keeping Ghana together and not divided and damn my own divisive relatives. I have seen too much pain of the black man to buy into this silly ideology that some tribes are better than others.

I have had great Ewe and Ashanti friends and bad ones of both sides as well, so I know exactly what I want, see everyone as an individual and never lamb people together. We are all Ghanaians and will always be.

I am shocked by the luck of knowledge in Ghana about the ethnology of our tribes and how we all share common identities yet some believe they are better than others.

Yes, I have the God damn right to insult my own backward Ashanti people. After all, I am just dealing with my internal demons and the Ewes will have to do the same but I understand them for now, because experience has thought them never to trust an Ashanti or an Akyem.

Notice my use of the two tribes because they get on very well with Gas, Fantes and Northerners and trust me, the rest have issues with how arrogant we are and my God, they are right.

All Ghanaians,not just our politicians must respect the rule of law if the country is ever going to thrive. We must give up corrupt practices at all levels: stop taking and giving bribes, stop stealing from our places of work, start paying our taxes, appreciate hard work, promote and reward those deserving of it, stop cronyism tribalism and nepotism etc etc. THAT IS WHAT WE MEAN BY HAVING RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW. NO COUNTRY HAS EVER ACHIEVED GREATNESS OR SUSTAINED PROSPERITY WITHOUT STRONG RECOGNITION AND RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW. To thrive a country needs strong institutions and social and political infrastructure that supports the rule of law. TODA GHANAIAN POLITICIANS AND MEN OF GOD HAVE THEMSELVES BECOME PART OF THE PROBLEM RATHER THAN PART OF THE SOLUTION.
