There can be two medical doctors in one hospital but the one that thinks outside box and uses other methods gains the attention of the masses.
The white man's reportage on the African continent was very abysmal and many Africans hated it but could not do anything about it, and some of our own people just did the same as the white man did.
Komla on other hand, did a reportage that made many Africans felt great once in their life time about their continent.
Those who look at Africa through the prism of Europeans could never see or understand the type of visibility the Focus on Africa brought to Africa a continent that is so rich it has to be labeled the poorest and we bought in to it.

My grandpa was poisoned by Belgians in the Belgium Congo. And what was his crime? According to grandma, grandpa had a habit of taking phone calls and the same time typing a different thing all together, a multi tasking habit the lazy Belgians in the Congo found so strange and believed grandpa had to be a wizard to multi task, and out of jealousy, he was poisoned but survived by flying into the Gold Coast for treatment.

Komla on other hand gave the continent more than a fare share that made a lot of Africans who follow the news optimistic.
