I very much love and also mourn Komla Dumor but I have always wondered why it is that Africa's best footballers, best journalists and finest brains in every sphere of life must always work for the British or Europeans. Is it not reminiscent of the days of slavery where our ablest bodies were sent to slave for the benefit of the Europeans? Is it not possible for the African Union to establish a broadcasting network to tell the African story such that the very best journalists in Africa can aspire to be called up for service in such a radio/tv broadcasting network? Why should the BBC continue to control our minds even on African issues yet we see nothing wrong with it? Who knows whether Komla Dumor was not assassinated for being too pro-African in his presentation of issues or stories on Africa.

NB: The BBC can never wish Africa well economically just as the Tiger can never wish that its prey such as the cow should develop fangs and claws to challenge it from devouring its prey. Africa is prey for Europe which is the predator and the sooner we realised this, the better!!!

And as His ways are not our ways, all we need is the immaculate mercy as a loving God. We need His Mercy. May Komla and all loving people's soul rest in perfect peace.
