  this is an extrimily good idea and positive sign of development through africa and not for only ghana alone but needs good leadership. our current leader is not good enough and bad for country economy.

  Are thieves going to work there or foreign scientist? Because our people acomplish other than to disappoint, beside that those professors and doctors that we have are not capable at all. They do not even know where to begin with to be frank. If government said, they are going to waste money, I will be the first person to agree with them. No research with arrogants, poor mentally capable people and thieves. If we were to have them, they would have prove it from their personal or individual reseach. Non of our so called pros and docs ever do that.

  What is being talked about here does not make sense. In fact without wasting time, I know for sure that if the heading (Ghana to establish.....) has "to" it means nothing will happen anyway.

  Why do they like talking and promising what they can`t do?From the President to DEC,every day we are going do this,we are going to do that,but after five years in power,we don`t even have water to drink,not to talk about Dumso Dumso.
  If they can do something,they should just shutup and do it,after all we are all living in this Country and we shall see it,if they do it.

  THIS IS THE USUAL BULL**** SPEW ED BY ILLITERATE MINISTER. WE HAVE HAD A SCHOOL OF PHARMACY FOR OVER 60 YEARS. WHAT IS THE JUSTIFICATION OF ESTABLISHING YT ANOTHR CENTRE? SOMEBODY HAS FOUND A NEW WAY TO WASTE TAXPAYERS' MONEY

  Do you really mean just a single school of pharmacy suffices for all pharmaceutical research in Ghana?
  
  We need more research institutes because the various institutes may specialize in different area of pharmacy. This holds for all kinds of fields: Chemistry, Engineering etc.
  
  I can surely tell you that Germany has over 100 well renowned reserach centers for Pharmacy, scatered all over the country.
  
  For instance the Fraunhofer , Helmholtz and Max-Planck institutes are located in almost every university in Germany, each specializing in different area. Then also we have the research centers of the biggest name in Pharmacy: Bayer, BASF, Pfizer, STADA, Novartis and several others.
  
  In short: we need more of such research institutes.
