Listen to the 'stomach politician'. Belly full Ankoma, tell me which nation in the world is not facing economic/financial crisis? You stay in your 4 corners in Sekondi and after listening to CK Man's highlife music you start to spew rubbish. Ankoma I think you are not intelligent to be a legislator. Your mind is very shallow. Instead giving ideas as to how to improve the standard of living in Sekondi and Ghana, you always try to find the easy way out by making infantile utterances. Wake up Ankoma and be responsible.

You not helping your kids by denying there are serious issues. The current president and his cabinet are useless.

The more I think about the new banking rules the more depressed I feel about Ghana's future. In a country like ours that does not have a strong manufacturing base, and there is no strong foreign exchange earning export now as the president admitted, how are small businesses going to adequately conduct trade if they do not have access to a dollar account. The strong economy we experienced with the NPP administration because they made it easy for people to remit foreign monies home is now going to disappear. These are monies the government had not earned, but were freely available for business. No right thinking person is going to send money through the bank if he cannot get his dollar back unless in extreme emergencies.
Money for commerce in Ghana is going to dry up in the banks, and we would be back to the 1980s all over again. How stupid can the so called "expert" economists be, that they cannot even learn from the recent past?

That said, problems with Gh economy aren't new. In fact, things have been worse. They are however in a very bad place now. Inflation, debt, lending rates, currency.
This gov't is a fish out of water... they don't know what the hell they're doing. First they tried to increase all taxes/stopped all subsidies. They then turn around and continue to waste so much money on stupid thing, at a time when they should be saving. Plans to build new airport, and in the same breath, plans to tax people more because you're short on cash...confused national priorities

Whether policy coherence or not. The government has lived up to his responsibility and the ordinary poor Ghanaian who plies the Legon route is happy. So please give us a break.
