cAN'T THE GHANA BAR ASSOCIATION BE AN AGENT OF CHANGE WITH THE GHANA LAWE REFORM COMMISSION? 18MONTHS FOR 100 CEDIS THEFT? Why can't such petty stealing be handled by traditional chiefs? Don't the courts have huge backlogs?

Why sentence him to 18 months in jail for stealing product valued 100.00 cedi's? Why Ghana????.. Feeding him at the jail will cost more than that.. please fine him and let him go...

Koby i agree with u but judges in GH are soo corrupt that when they hear such cases involving peanut money they get angry because they know the peanuts they can't have their share.If some one steals $20,000.00 he will be free ...

Foster Nii Ayi Smith stole GHS 14,000.00 is said to have forged the signatures of Prophet Stephen Mensah, Founder and General Overseer of Power Miracle International Church at Kaadjanor in Accra and stole monies from the various accounts of the church.

Smith stole cheque book leaflets of Access Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) and Unibank Ghana Limited in order to carry out his nefarious acts.

Charged with seven counts of forgery and seven counts of stealing, Smith pleaded guilty.

The court presided over by Mr Seyeram Azumah convicted him to a fine of GHC3,600 in default, three years jail.
