Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

The Speaker of parliament recently abolished the use of the word 'tweaa' in proceedings in the house. However, the president walked into the midst of the honourables and started vomiting outbursts of 'tweaa' and 'are you my co-equal?' as if he owned the whole world. Strangely, not one of the members of the august house, not even the clerks of the house, managed to prompt the president about his foul language!
Akua Donkor, who like Ayariga, was a disgrace to the idea of aspiring for the office of President of Ghana because of the way she conducted herself during the campaign, has come out to claim the patency for the SHS idea. Akuffo Addo has never come out to do same. However, in his clouded mind, the president thinks it is Akuffo Addo whose shadow he is chasing, and so comes out to challenge the latter on the ownership of the governments blotched free SHS concept.
Mr President, be abreast with the times. Do not think because of your elevated position, you are immune to the happenings in the country. Come back down here and live among your people.

Mahama, let me ask you this question. If Nana doesn't own free SHS copyright and it is enshrined in the constitution, why didn't you explain to Ghanaians when Nana raised the issue the first time? Also, why did you trash the idea as "not doable" and it is just a political gimmick or an attempt to win vote?

As the president, you should have explained into details anything about the idea but to rubbish the idea and later come back to use it during your state of the nation address is foolishness. We are remember how NDC operatives went from radio station to station casting insults on Nana as an avid marijuana smoker. How does such a person use a message in his campaign for you to trash it then later go for it?

Even if the idea is enshrined in the constitution, you and your party should have made that revelation to Ghanaians in the first place than to just insult the man who come out with the idea. This is a testament that the entire NDC is a party of truant and vagabonds.

Imagine the controversy this topic is generating.

The question on the minds of the generality of Ghanaians is what has the NDC gov't led by John Mahama and Amissah Arthur proposed in terms of visionary policies and programs, backed by well reasoned and intelligent brain work which has had a significant impact in the lives of Ghanaians?
The development landscape of Ghana is littered virtually by sheer incompetence and ineptitude backed by markedly high levels of mediocrity by the NDC gov't led by John Mahama and Amissah Arthur, supplanting Ghana effectively in the abyss. There has not been one, just one visionary policy or program which the NDC gov't from 2009 till present has actually presided over, to actually bring about a positive change in the lives of Ghanaians. In health, the visionary NHIS program of the NPP is tottering, facing significant hiccups leading to the virtual introduction of the cash and carry system, the most retrogressive form of healthcare delivery financing. In education, quality and access, two signature themes of the NDC gov't led by John Mahama, to violently, forcefully and vehemently rubbish the free SHS policy of the NPP party, has been but a propagandist dribble, with common chalk for teaching, a huge deal for the NDC gov't to solve. 50 SHS's, which should have been built and completed in 2013 with students, teachers and other ancillary staff utilizing these structures, a manifesto promise of the NDC gov't led by John Mahama and Amissah Arthur, has become another fiasco and at best, a pipe dream bothering on propaganda. It becomes extremely laughable when the NDC gov't led by John Mahama cannot even accomplish it's own manifesto promises and seeks to implement a policy, albeit a constitutional provision, for which the needed brain work on their part has not be done and has not been exhibited, but in a supposed attempt to blunt a message of the NPP, the NDC gov't wants to veer into the implementation of the free SHS. It is very instructive to note the volte face of the NDC gov't on the free SHS and no amount of propaganda in trying to flip the script on the decidedly failed themes of quality and access by the NDC gov't, would save their hide from well meaning and right thinking Ghanaians, who intend holding the NDC gov't accountable in 2016, at the ballot box.
Indeed, the very adoption of the free SHS policy of the NPP by John Mahama's NDC after they had rubbished it repeatedly, makes a huge mockery of the mental capacity of the NDC gov't to think strategically, futuristically and competently. It is no wonder then, that Ghana, after had been put on a very sound footing a la lower middle income economy after just 8years of the NPP administration, the country is trending towards pre-HIPC times, with projected growth of the economy at about 5.5% in 2014 per new revised IMF article IV dialogue meeting.
The NDC gov't led by John Mahama and Amissah Arthur should make no mistake that the very two thematic programs of quality and access, which they trumpeted across the length and breadth of the country, which has been fraught with mediocrity and outright incompetence, are still crying to be solved, are still crying to be resolved, are still waiting for very visionary, well reasoned and thought through solutions to patently fix them, since Ghanaians are still marking the script on these two thematic areas and the results are extremely, unprecedentedly and grotesquely appalling and nauseatingly unacceptable. Ghana deserves better and in 2016, the masses would speak to the issues of quality, access and the free SHS under the NDC gov't led by John Mahama and Amissah Arthur.

Any politician who is sensible and love GHANA must stop pointing at where TRIBAL POLITICS might have come from, because that will not take us anywhere. Another person will come and point at another direction. The fact is that, today we all know it is not a good thing to do and must be discouraged, rather than use it to our selfish advantage. The unity of our dear nation is more important than the survival of any political grouping. Ghana has been there long before any of these parties (which have a lot of selfish and insincere individuals) were formed. Ghana will be there when they are long gone. Let us sincerely pledge our loyalty to GHANA rather than a political party. How sincere are most of the members of these parties when it comes to stewardship with things of the nation? RESPECT AND EMBRACE EVERY TRIBE. In that lies the STRENGTH of OUR NATION. With that we will DEVELOP, HAVE PEACE and be WEALTHY. LONG LIVE GHANA.

So the question is,what has changed,that all of a sudden free education has become nessarry and affordable to Ghana?Because the time Nana Addo was campaigning on free education,the Ghanaian economy was far better than today.
That means there might be something wrong somewhere,if when our economy was growing at around 15% with Oil, we couldn`t afford free education,what makes you think we can afford it today, when the growth of our economy is suppose to fall under 7%with oil?

Oh Oman Ghana! Is it true we are a nation of jokers? Where is Dr. Mensah Otabil? He must be very right! Let's face it the party called NPP was villified, and copiously at that, when they branded free SHS as their flagship anthem for the last election.

And what happened? The party called NDC denigrated the NPP; they rained brimstone and all on them for touting an Utopian entity, the impossible, the untenable and more. And now the leader of the NDC who now is the President of the nation calls it no one owns the copyright of the idea? That's a huge joke, in my reckoning! A turn-around? They say that's politics.

Well, that sums up the approach, the attitude we may have and is not helping the nation!

Let the party called NDC be bold to uphold their own political mission and not sneak into the camp of their opponents and make a meal out of it. Failing to that sends wrong and worrying message to the nation! They have no set-goals? Or have lately recognized their brands are untenable? Can we then take them seriously? May be the evidence on the ground is enough; the performance of the ruling NDC hitherto is the proof! A disappointing one, regrettably!

If they call it a vote buying scheme then that is exactly what they are doing, to buy votes as the 206 election gets closer and the opposition has to applaud the fact that their ideas are being used which points to their credibility but the naivety of the government

Akufo Addo NEVER said he has ownership of "free education". The issue at stake is that, it's Akufo Addo and the NPP who made "free education" a campaign policy in 2012 election, not Mahama. As a matter of fact, Mahama opposed the idea, arguing that free education will compromise quality of education, so who does Mahama take for a FOOL in Ghana?

Mahama is behaving like he has no clue of any policy direction. To make an U-turn for "free education" exposes Mahama as NOT trustworthy. In other words, he's a thief and or a lair. He MUST explain to Ghanaians since when he knew "free education" was a right enshrined in the constitution. Will that be before or after the 2012 election? On the one hand, if he got to know of it after the election then it means he's not an informed citizen enough to lead the nation. On the other hand, if he knew it before the election then he disregarded the constitution and LIED to Ghanaians by opposing it.

We don't need ignorant and arrogant policy makers, or lairs to lead otherwise a NOBLE country like Ghana. Ghana has more DIGNIFIED and astute citizens from Axim up to Bawku to take us forward. Ghanaians have settled for FAR TOO LESS. Mahama has proved that he's NOT fit to lead a great nation like Ghana.
