I agree, but to some extent. There is a problem with who to choose as No 1. goalkeeper.
Nigeria, I believe, could go places too. Quite a good team, with Africa's no 1 keeper in their camp.

What has Ghana achieved in the last 35 years if not the quarter finals in South Africa which Cameroon and Senegal also reached in style even in a very spectacular way. With all the noise coming from Ghana, the Black Stars are yet to beat any top European or South American football nation in any competitive game as Nigeria did to Spain in a world cup, as Cameroon did to Argentina in a world cup, as Senegal did to France in a world cup and as Algeria did to Germany in a world cup. All that is coming from Ghana is empty rhetorics of beating a certain European minnow Czeck Republic. Self deciet is hallmark of Ghanaians.

Black Stars have perticipated in two continental tournaments after your South African parrameter and have flopped terribly succuming to lesser forces in Africa as lowly as Burkina Faso, Zambia, and Mali, even struggled to pick a draw against the likes of DR Congo and solicited referee's sympathy to overcome Cape Verde.

This is you Montenegro's Coach African best football nation that has also lost to Egypt in a return world cup quarlifier despite beating them 6-1 earlier. Black Stars are no longer what you saw in South Africa Mr. Montenegro Coach please, they lost again to Japan in a friendly and lost to South Korea as well. Ghana's only claim to footbsll glory is hinged on quarter final exploit in South Africa and that unfortunately is a stale and dead event now belong to history books of football. Ghana relies on FIFA ranking largely to lay claim yo one of the best on African continent but have failed in the last 35 years to win any trophy. FIFA recognises Nigeria as the best football brand coming from Africa to the world cup cos they are the reigning African champions and not Ghana that struggles even against African opponents in all tournaments. Mr Montenegro Coach pls don't attempt to garnish your friendly match agsinst Ghana by confering on Ghana as the best from Africa by your own standards.

At the end of the day, most African countries would love to say they have a team that has made it out of the group stages of the last two World Cups and has made it to the final four of the last four African Cup of Nations. No need to overanalyze. If this team makes it out of the group stages in the WC, they will continue to garner respect no matter what the critics say.
