People are hungry, sitting in dark rooms without electricity and without water to take a bath; and just waiting to hear something inspirational from their leader, to indicate that there is light at the end of the tunnel; and the leader is cracking jokes ? Obama can do it because we know how HARD he is working, to make things better for the American people, from the mess he inherited from that Bush. But Mahama, after telling people to wait and wait and wait, he is cracking jokes ? That's beyond pathetic for a leader !

It will not change but will continue to affect the performance of the the ministers. For me am happy petrol and other services are up by the day. That is the real better Ghana agenda for the poor NDC guys to face the music. The good news is that they are lazy. I offered some work to some NDC guys in my area and the simply refused to do it. They will suffer the more. Am from Volta North and we all know how lazy those boys are. Typical NDC for you who has a leader cast in the mold of the Ajaz Bokana of blessed memory

Listen to this thrash from the presidency! This whyte man must himself be joking.
Instead of accepting that the president has no time to follow what happens in the house, the aide is trying to justify why the president used expressions that had been banned by the speaker only a few weeks back. When the president finally admit that he gaffed it, which he will definitely do one day, I hope Dr Whyte will be shown the door. He is a disgrace not only to the presidency but to the entire nation. He cannot continue to live on the benevolence of a country he has no regard for.
Let us all learn to accept our slip ups and find ways and means to avoid repeating same, rather than try to justify them!

The unity of our dear country must not be compromised for any political gain. We must respect every tribe in the country and avoid playing on the minds of those who have not been lucky to have any formal education for our selfish earns. Any politician who is sensible and love GHANA must stop pointing at where TRIBAL POLITICS might have come from, because that will not take us anywhere. Another person will come and point at another direction. The fact is that, today we all know it is not a good thing to do and must be discouraged, rather than use it to our selfish advantage. The unity of our dear nation is more important than the survival of any political grouping. Ghana has been there long before any of these parties (which have a lot of selfish and insincere individuals) were formed. Ghana will be there when they are long gone. Let us sincerely pledge our loyalty to GHANA rather than a political party. How sincere are most of the members of these parties when it comes to stewardship with things of the nation? RESPECT AND EMBRACE EVERY TRIBE. In that lies the STRENGTH of OUR NATION. With that we will DEVELOP, HAVE PEACE and be WEALTHY. LONG LIVE GHANA.

Keep your promises. You know how politicians are viewed as promise-breakers? Good. You also know how people hate politicians? Well, there you have it. Break your promises and you lose respect. Point blank. You can fit the suit, you can have all the charisma, and you can have the knowledge, but if you don't deliver on what you promised to deliver, the people will have you silver platter. •An integral part of keeping promises is knowing what's doable and what's not. If you can define between the two, the only other obstacle is being honest. Practice this with your kids, practice this with your teammates, and practice this at every opportunity. Developing a strong moral code removes room for those questioning your ability to lead and hold power.

Dr Amoah, the Chinese trained political scientist or whatever, is trying to get some spot light these days so he says anything that will get him in the news. How can he make such accusations without pointing out any substantive part of the president's address so described. It's typical of this self-styled policy analyst jump at a topic that has been raised by somebody and adds his ludicrous "insights" so it can be reported. We have a problem with these chinese trained PhDs running around the radio stations.
