  It is important and sensible idea for parliament to leave the missing baby saga to the regulatory bodies, the hospital board and the courts/legal service till the case is completed. No politician should make statements which will influence justice or sway the decision makers as to the truth behind this case. We want mothers to feel save, we don't want a repeat of this issue, they should discuss other issues affecting the bad economy and high standard of leaving and leave this case alone till it is completed. WE ALL WANT TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED, THOSE FOUND GUILTY SUSPENDED FROM THEIR PROFESSIONS AND THE HOSPITAL TO APOLOGISE FOR THE ERRORS AS WELL AS PAY COMPENSATION TO THE GRIEVING FAMILIES.

  I hope after the investigation by the state agencies, Parliament will propose to DNA every child born during the past 3 or 6 months to compare the results to their parents. This will unearth the kind of evil practices perpetuated against the poor in society by those who money to buy everything. This is not an isolated case as it's rumoured this has been going for ages that nurses had with impunity of swapping healthy poor babies to different parents.

  I think it's about time the hospitals review it's policies on handling still births. I think as soon as somebody has a still birth they should be given their dead baby immediately . The baby should not be taken to the morgue. ...

  I think it's about time the hospitals review it's policies on handling still births. I think as soon as somebody has a still birth they should be given their dead baby immediately . The baby should not be taken to the morgue. I really feel sorry for the midwife and doctor who were on duty. They are being persecuted because of a still birth which could have been handled well if there were proper ways of giving the babies to their families

  Aside babies getting missing there are unconfirmed reports of illicit plastic surgeries being performed in some hospitals in Ghana. With the capabilities of plastic surgery today it is imperative that every plastic surgery be approved by the Ghana Armed Forces as it has security implications. This may be a daunting task but the GAF must make it fairly easy to oversee it.
