You could have even gone to Peduase and rest but Mr Made in Ghana cannot even spend two weeks continuesly in Ghana.

If Ghanaians are left with such a huge national assets and could not not multiply it after 57 years then you are [………] fill in the gap. Remember Ghana had to import everything during the colonial period and did not possess a single factory. Nkrumah stated from the scratch I mean no factory. Rero –nil – zilch. Now look at all these institutions and factories and estimate whether 200 million pounds could be able to do the trick?. By the way Ghana for her part in the construction of the Akosombo dam contributed 37 million pounds out of the 200 million pounds so you can do the arithmetic.

Yes Nkrumah did all this for the love of Maami – Daavi Ghana he died in far away Romania penniless. Can that be said of any of those who came after the ill-fated 24th Feb. 1966 that arrest our economic and industrial development? A Big NO! Nkrumah set up Ghana National Trading Company - GNTC to offset importers like SCAO, CFAO, UTC, GB Ollivant so that by 1964 GNTC was the leading importer and was making profit which left multi- nationals French firms like CFAO and SCAO and British firms UTC almost insolvent in Ghana.

The Mate meho NLM-UP-PP-PFP-NPP nation wreckers threw the new nation Ghana out with the bath water because they were sour losers. These boycotters and saboteurs of our independence will on each Indy day regret their actions as of 1957 by throwing the baby out with the bath water. These lawless bunch who modus operandi- is” If not our way; then the highway” is still true to the letter today.

The coolaborated with foreigners to stifle and arrest the economic and industrial development of Oman Ghana by deceiving themselves that Ghanaians were queuing for so – called “ essential commodities” How stupid can one be when one refuses to buy locally made Ideal milk but would queue for imported Peak milk? How stupid can brain washed can one be if one queues for Ovaltine and refuses to buy the then locally made new Milo by Nestle? The analogy goes on and on.

The 1966 coup was done not to appease Ghanaians but rather Ghana and Nkrumah became a victim of the COLD WAR. Ghanaians and their “plight for so called essential commodities was secondary matter. It was EAST against WEST but Nkrumah was NAM and was standing in the way of American interest. “We neither face EAST nor WEST; we face forward.” Wa s one of his famous quotes. The final straw was when Nkrumah broke diplomatic relationship with UK in November 1965 and thereafter published his book Neo- Colonialism – the last stage of imperialism which exposed how the multinationals operate worldwide. That led to protest by the American government and suspension of $24 million American aid. Three months later Nkrumah has been deposed with the help of Mate Meho back stabbers. These notorious peoples party and affiliates must collectively bow their heads in shame.

By about early 60s most of the factories were beginning to suffer. The money that Nkrumah had was depleted so had to seek out help from an American company to build the Akosombo dam. The dependency on foreign loans started in Nkrumah’s time and has never stopped. Even though we got our independence we were never independent.

I will believe these pontifications when government uses its purchasing power to steer us this way. The President could have said all state canteens, all schools funded by the state and others like that should henceforth buy food grown in Ghana.

But what is the reality? The chances are the dining rooms in the Flagstaff house and the ministries serve perfumed rice from wherever but Ghana.

The one who wields executive power should be announcing actions. If he uses these exhortations, he is no different from me who wields no power.
