We are people with akpeteshie budget but have a taste for champagne. Ghana should stop sponsoring anybody to go and watch matches in Brazil and apart from the 23 playing body, the technical team and other officials should not exceed ten people. We should cut our coat according to our size and should not spend more than $10 million.

Meanwhile, much of the money that was voted for South Africa 2010 went into people's private pockets.

In England, supporters pay their own way to international turnaments and matches. What is the basis for selecting certain Ghanaians for such trips? Meanwhile the women among them go to those places to engage in prostitution.

Just imagine how many schools $10m can build. And our president has earmarked the equivalent of $28m for free education? No, Ghana is a Big Joke under this cluless Mahama. From Braer aircraft, Isofoton, GYEEDA, SUBAH, the man has demonstrated that he no better than any ordinary petty thief!

Sometime ago, somebody said and I quote 'Ghanaians are not smart and that is why they will always be manipulated by mediocrity and political stupidity.
Right from the beginning when I heard about the $20m budget being advocated by the political and sports pundits who through the conveyance of their sports journalist allies started propagating and making the Ghanaian and the world at large to believe it was a realistic budget, I asked myself, what exactly did they understand $20m can do for the country. I became more suspicious when high profile Ghanaians including the President started talking about the BLACK STARS bringing the cup to Ghana. I laughed over it and concluded straight away that, that was the BEST ARGUEMENT TO MAKE TO JUSTIFY THE SO CALLED BUDGET.
Thank God there are a lot of revelations coming out now which makes nonsense the so called budget being defended by the political criminals in Ghana- who would always capitalise on every given opportunity to milk the ordinary Ghanaian.
At least, the budgets of USA and more importantly, the Nigerian budget of $9.5m or so which resulted to the dismissal of the Minister of sports as a wake up call for Ghanaians.
SENDING 1000 GHANAINS TO THE WORLD CUP AT A COST OF OVER $10,000.00 IS THIEVERY. REMEMBER WHAT YAMIN SAID A FEW MONTHS AGO: AND I QUOTE, I WILL BE FOLLISH TO SEND MY CRONIES TO WATCH THE WORLD IF I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO.
TRUST ME, THE 1000 SEATS WILL END UP GOING TO THEIR CRONIES AT A CUT THROAT OFFER BECAUSE THEY COULD BE MANUPULATED. If those idiots end up sending at 100 cronies each to the world cup and they get a 'kick back' each of them will get.
There is to much corruption in Ghana and it is time for Ghanaians to wake up.
