    Well done Nana Ansah. Tell me, was there a Bolgatanga Corned Beef Factory, in addition to the Tamale Meat Factory.
    Can our govts.,between now and the next decade replicate about half of these projects?

    Yes it was the Bolga factory and leather (hide) for Kumasi shoe factory. Ghana had an oil refinery when we didn't have oil but Nkrumah was able to out do Nigerians by building TOR and refining oil for the entire West Africa. ...

    In my youthful days, I was lucky to have gone to Bolgatanga to go and observe the Corned Beef Factory. It was a sight to behold!

    And unfortunately Nkrumah was so desperate that he wrote a bogus VALCO contract. He was completely bamboozled by the West. Thanks to JJ for renegotiating that contract. I guess Samia thinks the dependency just started today.

    Thank you for educating us. It is a pity that most Ghanaians do not know much about Nkrumah's accomplishments. Why is this not made mandatory in schools? We are lost as a nation if we do not even know our own history.
