Every single day there is a Ghanaian intellectual trying to put Ghana's problem on one of our past leaders from Nkrumah, to Acheampong, Afrifa, Rawlings, KU4, Mills, Mahama and the list continues.

I only have one question for Prof Akosah and those like minded folks like him. Is there any sinlge succefuly managed African nation or predominantly balck society in the world? Absolutely Non! And dont tell me Swaziland wher over 30% of the population is HIV whiles the king has over 100 wives and the list continues.

All predominat black nations or societies managed blacks in the world are in chaos. And the problem has to do with evolution. The African is the least evolved of all the human species. You see natural resoureces do not develop a society, its human ingenuity, creativity, and the ablity to have vision, all of which the black man lacks and it goes back to issues of low IQ.

Africa as a continent is not the problem, the problem is the people that inhabit the continent. Nkrumah came back from America and was filled with anger for the white man due to the open racism he ws exposed to and came back demanding for them to leave and that the black man was capapble.

Truthfully the black man was neither capapble nor ready. Through emotions we kicked them out only to discover our shortcomings including how to manage basic things as sanitation. Infact everything the black man has managed has collapsed.

When it comes to leadership the black man is also at the bottom of the list. Then worse of all for us we have an education system that is based on "chew, pour, pass, and forget" system. A system that does not teach any problem solving skills or analytical skills. How then do you expeect such a society to be progressive? It aint going to happen folks.

The only soultion is we need to invite the white man back, That was the only way the Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, and the rest of Asians learnt from them. We need to work side by side with them till we get it by working hard before demanding for them to leave. And also the educated masses need to work much harder than what they currently do, go to work at 110, read news papers all day and leave by 3pm.

You can never build a successful society this way, no pastor nor imam can either help you, its only through hard work.

This is an island nation with no natural resources that came out of slavery and has managed to govern themselves and build a prosperous society.

The solution was EDUCATION. Educating themselves to the highest levels possible in Science, Agriculture, Finance and Business.

When we speak of the HUMAN RESOURCE being a nations most valuable then one must focus financial resources on developing that HUMAN RESOURCE. This brothers and sisters of Ghana informed Nana Akuffo-Addo's "free" SHS program. I hope that John Mahama and the NDC in their belated U-turn are serious about UNIVERSAL EDUCATION in Ghana that also includes the QUALITY of said education.

The whiteman invented propaganda before the ndc.their plan was to make the blackman feel he cant do anything without their help. The current global economy which they control has been designed to suit them. politically they still control most of our leaders and the progressive ones like Nkrumah,Maurice Bishop and lamumba are overthrow so that the likes of mobutu,rawlings and mahama can rule us and carry all our money to them.
Despite all this,a lot african countries are gradually building a strong economy and society and before they can do anything to stop it, it will be too late. The other time it was 'Ghana is an apology and now it is indiscipline left by Rawlings as a legacy. Where was he during the reign of President Rawlings? Was that man Prof Akosa of low mentality in other areas outside his field of studies aware of the real situations in Ghana in 1977--1979? Why even did Kufour join Rawlings in his 1981 second coming, because Kufour realised that Rawlings had a good vision, and a real one indeeded for Ghana. Still where was Akosa, that he kept mute, and had today come out with a mind only to find faults with past leaders, especially the one he hates most-Rawlings?

Rawlings did much good things for Ghana, even though not all could agree with him, but I see political and tribal hatred flowing through the chin of Akosa and that is why he is wild towards Rawlings and the NDC.

The political platform is there so just start with clean campaign and convince the people of what you can do for Ghana. If you can better, remember it does mean comdenming people of this and that could bring the expected change.

The major problem in the world, and not only in Ghana today is that people are stubborn, rude, disrespectful and uncontrollable. This is not a thing that Rawlings caused or brought into Ghanaian system. When Nkrumah was overthrown by the Americans was the day that Ghana dived into the water and everything started dismantling. Were you aware of that frustrated Akosa? Shame unto you?!!!!

Akosa, you are educated in your area of studies and I will give you credit for that, but apart from that you are a waste since your mind is full of saw dust. Why are you not condenming the USA till today but you have turned to the person who came in to help bring sanity THAT TIME in our system. Anybody can argue but the facts were there that time of 1977-1979--1981

Was it not breaking down of certain government and CPP properties, burning of Nkrumah books or anything pertaining to Nkrumah destroyed was the order of the day? That time was described as euphoric but in real terms it was destructive and disaster for our people's minds since the minds of every person including children were made to have no respect to anything of government and of the CPP. In any case, it is not too late to tackle these problems now. The government of the day whenever that day is must have policies to deal with the problem of corruption. The one overriding problem facing Ghana's development is corruption. Until it is tackled robustly Ghana will not make any progress forward. And corruption is not just politicians and their henchmen and women looting from national coffers bad as that is. It includes implementing policies that deliberately or inadvertently fuel corrupt practices. For example, very few people, if any at all, know of the rules and regulations as well as the processes governing clearing imported goods from our ports. The process of clearing goods from our ports is so convoluted and opaque it drives the sort of corruption that happens at our ports. How can this problem be eliminated? The government should implement very simple, clear and transparent guidelines to staff and clearing agents at our ports. Simplify the levy system and educate Ghanaians about the system. The government must bring forth legislation punitive enough to deter corruption at the ports. And above all, make the process less expensive. If the government implement these changes, importers would be happy to follow prescribed procedure and pay legitimate duty on their good. The government will earn more in revenue. The opposite is true as we are seeing now. Almost every importer goes to lengths to evade paying duty by engaging in corrupt practices and the revenue that should go to government ends up in the pockets of corrupt officials.

I think as far as governance is concerned less is more. More regulation and higher tariffs leads to more corruption and less revenue for national development.

Charity they say begings at home. Sometimes, when I hear people blame the indiscipline on only leaders, it shows how myopic they think. These men forget their their children grow up seeing them cheat in exams, lied to get a job, cheat on their wives and even multreat them. You think your children were not watching and learning how indiscipline you are with your words against their mothers and vise versa. The problem of indiscipline starts right from our homes. Then into schools and then carriers and also political office.

John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Saskatchewan.
After spending a great evening chatting the night away, the next morning John’s grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast.
However, John noticed a film like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking, ‘Are these plates clean?’ His grandfather replied, ‘They’re as clean as cold water can get em. Just you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!’
For lunch the old man made hamburgers
Again, John was concerned about the plates, as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like dried egg and asked, ‘Are you sure these plates are clean?’ Without looking up the old man said, ‘I told you before, Sonny, those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don’t you fret, I don’t want to hear another word about it!’
Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was leaving, his grandfather’s dog started to growl, and wouldn’t let him pass.
John yelled and said, ‘Grandfather, your dog won’t let me get to my car.’ Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV, the old man shouted! ‘Coldwater, go lay down now, yah hear me!’

Does he remember the time when fellow citizens will rather prefer to bury provisions to create artificial shortage? When military officers will ask the military men to go to Makola and carry bags of rice for their girlfriends ? that was when indiscipline started.
